Round 3 I didn't spoil myself, which meant I waited nearly 24 hours to see round 3. As I write this, the tournament is almost over, but I'm going to wait until tomorrow night to watch the final round. The good news is that a lot of my faves had good days today. Jin Young Ko shot a nice round to put herself into the top 20. Lucky Six blistered the course with a 67 to move to under par, amazing considering where she was after the first round. So Young Lee had back to back 69s to make up for her horrendous first round. Ji Hyun Oh had her first under par round as well to move back to Even. Even better, there are some faves of mine with a legit chance to win this thing. Super props to In Gee on a great round. 66! That's got to be one of her best scores in ages. And she's just two back! Wa hoo! Go IN GEE! Seon Woo Bae has also nicely placed herself as the KLPGAer with the best chance to shock the world. Considering she's planning on playing the JLPGA next season, I wonder how things will change if she somehow grabs this win? Minjee Lee was also strong today, and Sung Hyun Park didn't play well, but is in her favorite position, three back entering the final round. It's going to be a battle and almost certainly a playoff, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one of the Sisters can grab this trophy tomorrow. In Gee has come close several times, so has Park, but In Gee needs this far more, so I'm rooting hard for her. Good luck, and GO SISTERS!!! HWAITING! Sung Hyun Park Seon Woo Bae In Gee Chun Danielle Kang Hye Jin Choi Minjee Lee Ji Hyun Kim Jin Young Ko Ji Hyun Oh Ha Na Jang Su Oh Jeong Eun Lee 6 Chella Choi

After watching Ariya 51 and DK pour gasoline over their heads and light a match at #7, I knew the tournament was Dumbo's and didn't watch anymore (I assumed Charley would make enough mistakes to clinch it).
So how did the winner's ceremony go? Were there any 70-year-old women who went into a 3-point stance and barrel into the security guards?

Mi Hyang pulled herself together with four birdies on the last six holes and finished T-14.
She is up to 6,699 IG followers...it is called QUALITY over quantity.

The LPGA rightly stresses the diversity of the players and pointed out the variety of countries populating the leaderboard after the first three rounds. But it seemed to me that the Koreans performed much better in the final round versus the players from other countries. So I did quick analysis to see if my theory held water. Overall, the Koreans shot two strokes better on average than the other nations (~69 1/4 vs ~71 1/4). The top ten Koreans shot on average 68.3 versus 69.8 for the non-Korean top ten and that's propped up by the 67-65-67 of Nasa, Nelly and Carlota.
What was it with the lack of marshals to control the crowds? I thought the Korean fans knew enough not the stroll as you please when players are getting ready to tee off.
