The tour's biggest jackpot (¥200,000,000) is up for grabs starting Thursday at Kosugi CC, on Japan's west coast directly west of Tokyo. The course they used last year was set up deliberately for a massacre and that's what they got...only six players broke par and the winning score was -5. Unfortunately, the word "fun" was in a translated article for this year's set-up...this is unfortunate...fighting for ¥200M should require a bloodbath. Ji Hee Lee will defend her title...I don't know how she does it...she's physically unimpressive, has a nothing swing, and is 103-year-old...all she does is SCORE.
They are adding LIVE streaming this year for all four rounds starting at 8:00 AM (Japan time)...try one of these two:
The regular broadcast for Sat. & Sun. is on the link below:
Sat. 3:00 PM
Sun. 1:55 PM

Thanks! I see that Ai Suzuki is finally going to play. Her injury must have been pretty bad. It's amazing that she stills lead the money list.
I see that Yuri Fudoh is still showing up every once and awhile. I saw her at the Kraft Nabisco once and loved her long swing. Also her great ball striking ability. We went to Hawaii the next year and saw some of the Japanese lady golfers with a similar swing.

BML announced that she has a "temporary separation" with Shigenori Shimuzu, her caddy since 2013. If Mr. Shimuzu sticks with Hina Arakaki, it will be permanent. BML will employ a "female trainee" from another golf course this week.
Minami Katsu
The Hulk and Eight Head
Kana Nagai and tour boss Hiromi Kobayashi
Miyuki Takeuchi has worn the Callaway logo, but those look like Mizuno sticks...Momoko Ueda has been with Callaway forever.
Serena Aoki and Shiho Oyama

philknjBo Mee needs a change of scenery. It's uncanny that both Bo Mee and In Gee, hottest players of 2015, are going through the trying times simultaneously. Inbee Park, JiYai Shin and Sun Ju Ahn are exceptional in their ability to sustain excellence over a long period of time.

Momoko has always been one of my favorites, even before she went back to Japan. https://www.instagram.com/p/BfsusW3gx-C I read a story where she left America because she was so lonely. . . In my opinion, if so, that's a tragedy!

I went out tonight and didn't see much of the early streaming, but it will resume Wed. night at 11 PM EST and finish at 4 AM.
Whoa, Weiwei Zhang is the early clubhouse leader at 68, -4. My favorite Chinese golf site will go ballistic if this continues. Kotono Kozuma, fighting her off the scrap heap, also finished with a 68.
Hina Arakaki, Ayaka Watanabe and Erina Hara
JY Shin and Kana Nagai

I got to watch the last hour and a half. Always good to see Momoko and Jiyai. Jiyai stumbled a little on hole four five and six. A missed short birdie putt and back to back bogeys. She has righted the ship and is minus three through fourteen.
The first time that I have seen Erika Kikuchi since she lost to Jin Young at the Queens. She dropped down some after that, but is climbing her way to the top.

The broadcast on Sky A resumed, but it appears to be a repeat of earlier action. However, the Youtube video on the link below has LIVE action.
The sound is screwed up...you can hear the action and talk on the golf course, but not the broadcasters. They just brought Sakura Koiwai (67, -5) into the broadcast booth, but you can't hear a word spoken (not that it makes a difference in my case).
Hana Jang is grouped with Ai Suzuki and Ji Hee Lee

I guess I'm like the rest of you. I watched the first two hours and then decided to do something else while waiting for the afternoon groups to tee off. Sakura had rebounded nicely from her loss just a couple of days ago. I watched Momoko get her double bogey, and then watched Erika and Jiyai both stumble out of the rough around the green for bogeys. Now I'm watching HaNeul being interviewed. . .
