I have seen the future, and it is Allison Lee !!!!!
Tall, gorgeous, bruiser off the tee, American, and a Sister !!! From her first shot of the round to the last, unbelievable.
Given that she was playing with Se Ri on the opposite 9, i assume she got NO airtime. They should have interviewed her after the round.
She played BETTER than -9 !!!!! I fully expect her to take the trophy tomorrow.
Ladies and Gentlemen.... your next Seoul Sister SuperStar.

Too bad Allison is a ex UCLA Bruin.
Ha Na seem to be stuck on the 68 score. She needs to go a lot lower tomorrow. However Hyo Joo is looking good.

I watched her play in college and you are right she is amazing talent. However, just like Ko, Wie, and C. Kim,she isn't a real Korean so she doesn't belong on this board.

Round 3 Another scintillating round by Hyo Joo Kim. She was really lighting it up on the back nine. If she hadn't finished in semi-darkness, I think she might have even gone lower (the lack of light really bit Sei Young Kim I think, especially on the final hole, where she somehow changed a perfect drive into a double bogey). Hyo Joo is in the perfect position to win this thing, but as we saw today, if someone gets hot they can go mega low on this course. So she's still going to have to bring it. I think she can do it, and I'm rooting for her to pull it off. Go Hyo Joo!!! (Funny quote of the day: Karrie Webb was asked in her press conference if she knew anything about Hyo Joo Kim. She said something like, 'oh yeah, I know something about her...'. Of course, it was Hyo Joo that outdueled Webb for the Evian last year, making birdie on the final hole to claim the crown). Ha Na Jang was not super solid, but her 68 put her 4 back and in position to win for sure. Obviously Alison Lee had a super round, and she, Soobin Kim and Julie Yang are three ex-college players of Korean ethnicity all having great weeks. We'll see what happens if any of them get close on Sunday (personally, I like that this board covers all the golfers of Korean ethnicity, regardless of whether they play under the Korean flag. Many of them were inspired by Se Ri, too!). A bummer that Q Baek and In Gee were not able to move up the board, but In Gee is at 9 under and still close to a top ten, and even Q could get one with a great Sunday. In Gee plays with NYC tomorrow. Go Sisters!!!!! HWAITING!! Not sure if you are joking or not. I meant that Allison being a formal Bruin is a rival of my USC Trojans. My statement had nothing to do with her not being a real Korean.

BRILLIANT....JUST BRILLIANT.
Congrats to Hyo Joo Kim.
What a great duel between HJK & Stacy....as Lewis is creating pressure...HJK doesn't back off. I love how HJK also drained that birdie putt on 18 vs. cozing it to the hole.
I love the action of HJK's swing...she can impart some good spin.
As Judy said...it was great for HJK to stand up and fight for relief from the hornet's nest...while a player previously got relief. I know many remember NYC standing there in silence while her caddie fought the RO at the 10th hole in the final round of the 2012 USWO when she hooked her drive.....I think if NYC fought more she would have got a more favorable decision...but NYC came back nicely on the next hole.
I think we can now say The Big 4...instead on the Big 3 on the LPGA.
The Korean Reign of Terror continues.
JTBC must be happy with this result.

Stacy has this one locked. No need to watch on Sunday. I love the reverse jinx...well done sir...well done...keep it up. Lewis is just burning inside....she's gonna implode....another 2nd place finish...I wonder if she'll be enjoying some nice Korean BBQ for dinner tonight?

I think we can now say The Big 4...instead on the Big 3 on the LPGA. We're not quite there yet, as we have yet to see the consistency from Hyo Joo as we go from the "Big 3". They are in contention almost every week they tee it up. While Hyo Joo was impressive in her victory, this was really the first week this season that she was in contention. That being said, she's the odd woman out right now. In my mind, she's surpassed NYC, Ryu, Shanshan, Pettersen, and Wie, and at 19, she may be Lydia Ko's only true rival over the course of the next 10 years. If she can manage to gain just a little bit of consistency, she could challenge Ko for the top spot. I'll have more in my write up this week, as I think Hyo Joo's victory was much more impressive than many will give her credit for for a variety of reasons.

Yes....I noticed this week they didn't pair the pros based on the timing of their posted scores....so are you saying there's favoritism to the Yanks.....lol. That's why a I made a post earlier in this thread that NYC finally got into a premier group this week for Thurs/Fri with Ko & Wie. When NYC was in the top 10 for a long period she was often put into a pairing with mid ranked pros and outside of the premier TV coverage pairings.

I said Big 4......in my books...HJK is the best pro from the ones ranked 4-10. Huh...the young lady has only played 3 LPGA event this year....and finished....I believe 23 & 8th in her 1st two events...and on courses she nor her loop are familiar...and both she and her caddie have another barrier on the LPGA....English....those HJK spoke with her sticks today and took down pouty face Lewis. HJK must have been really nervous to face off against a more LPGA experienced Lewis who has won on this course with a Yank partisan gallery....yet HJK didn't crumble ala...Stenson at the API earlier today. The consistency of Ko, Inbee, Lewis & HJK will be demonstrated this week.

Great win for Hyo Joo. What a joy to watch her play. I started to follow Ha Na, but I am glad I decided to follow her instead. Also congratulation to the other sisters for five top tens. Have to take my hat off to Lewis, she also fought hard.
