Now that I'm watching the FOX coverage.....due to the weather...the greens are too soft for a USWO.....a lot of pitch marks and shots holding.....therefore IMO....I think they need to lengthen the course to really beat up the gals if an even score is to win...though we've already seen some ungly scores from the am wave.
Huh....Mericans have come out to watch this event?....nice galleries for a Thursday.

I hope NYC can build on her early momentum and get to five or six under after day one. Granted, she rubs some people the wrong way (at least her parents), but right now, she is the best golfer in the world.

Calling her the best golfer in the world is stretching it a little.

Don't take my word for it--ask Stacy. She humiliated the field at Blackwolf Run and she has a good chance of doing it again this week. I believe she is finally playing up to her potential.

It's hard to tell who the bigger troll is. Mr3Putt is out and about with it. Just right in your face with the trolling with no apologies.
But fanofseri is really subtle about it.

There is no question that NYC is playing better golf than any other player right now. I'm not saying she will be the best forever but I don't drink the Inbee, Stacy or Lydia kool aid.

Anthony Thx for the compliment. Can there no be co-winners for Troll of the Year award.......fanofseri for style and I for content? Let's face it.....these forums for me is just entertainment....and I really appreciate fanofseri and Phil's hun=mor and wit....these two guys would undoubtedly...the two members I would have a day of fun and laughs on the links and for a few libations afterwards. I just saw this on the internet...if Ms. Pouty Face is in contention on Sunday...I'll need to change my avatar....This is classic Lewis....always blaming the fairway, putting surface or the club for a porrly executed shot...it's NEVER her....lol

Too bad you, Phil and I didn't live closer together....it would be fun to play golf.....my game has s*cked for the last 2 months....though I have only been playing very challenging courses with many hazards and stress from the blue and black tees.....so if I laughed too hard and could not concentrate...it really would not matter.

Tony you failed again ....HYP's eyes are closed in the above picture....and I think you are not bringing your camera to the course anymore. Muni He is getting allow of fanboying aatention from the other golf forums. I thought Muni is a American born Chinese (aka banana)...but she's mainland China born.....she's played well in a few AJGA events.

The upside to the USWO being on Fox is that the USGA is their only golf coverage and they are treating it special so we get treated special. Case in point: there will be two-hour coverage of the resumption of the first round tomorrow morning. It's from 5-7 PDT which is perfect for me as I set the alarm at 5:15.
I wonder if Natalie Gulbis will help with the broadcast on the weekend as it appears, alas, she will miss the cut.
Plenty of Seoul Sisters doing well so far including my sleeper pick, In Gee Chun. NYC has to sleep on a par-saving putt on 7 (her 16th hole) to stay 3.
I really need to give Morgan Pressel more respect in my Pakpicker.
Isn't Karrie Webb ageless?
In my recollection over this season, Suzann Pettersen is eating up the easier courses but struggling on the difficult ones.
Caroline Hedwall should change her name to Hedgame. I wonder if Carin Koch will pick her for the Solheim Cup.

I have my camera with me for entire tournament. I have media credentials for all LPGA events and USGA, so I can walk inside ropes during tournament play. I just have had az hard time getting a good pic of her this week. I think I made up for it though with the Muni pics. Didn't realize they would couse such a sensation. I know you have media creds.....but didn't know media people could snap pics inside the ropes Thurs to Sun. Just ask HYP...."Hi Rocket....could you please pose for a pic....we have a bunch of your fanboys (OK just me...The Smiling Buddha) who wants a nice pic....lol. Yes....your greatest cyber space contribution is discovering Muni He....well played sir....she's causing a big stir in the forums...I guess the USGA needed a good Chinese feel good story to replace Lucy Li from last year...cause SS Feng will never get any attention...even if she won the Grand Slam. You and Cindy must be enjoying this week....looks like a crazy nice course....have fun....if you can't get a good pic of HYP...then get some more of Alison Lee pics(she's also golf forum fav)....lol.

I expect Gulbis to be a FOX on course reporter on the weekend....she and Holly can compare who is more shapely with the Shark being the judge.....lol. Juli is not too bad...she's chilled and says a lot of sarcastic things....which I like....get Abbott onto FOX so we can heard his stupid comments too....he's always good for a laugh. I can't believe NYC went for the green and shoved one into the water sitting at -3....but then again...if she stuffed her 2nd to within 15 ft...I be saying she's wants to win this thing...lol. Ya, Pressel's play has been steady and a 180 from recent years. Webby..is smart and steady...but I think she'll eventually succumb. Tutta's Butch experiment has ended....she needs to go back to Lead Poisoning.....yes, I'm on my 12th Crown Royal. Ko gave us hope at -3 then faded back to even....I think she'll let another major slip by.....her putting will crack under any pressure if she making a charge on Sunday. The potential Euro team sucks...but then the US team is lousy too....it will be a evenly matched showdown of mediocrity. Koch will pick Hedwall n case there's a fight in the parking lot.

I think an older guy has access to the locker room at USGA events.

m3putt, No, I did not get a freebie grounds pass this time from MHL. I didn't ask for one and she didn't offer it. If I made a mistake, it was at the KPMG. After her Friday round was over, I chit-chatted a little with her and completely forget to mention my plans to attend the USWO. Had I said this, who knows what she would have said or done? Maybe something...maybe nothing. Regarding Thursday's play, I pity the group of Henderson, Chella, and Il Hee which has to sleep on some par (or worse) putts awaiting them early Friday AM at the devilish par-3 8th hole (uphill 198 yards). I’ll have detailed reports later, but my morning group performed as expected: Mi Hyang – almost perfect Ariya – “The horror...the horror.” Regarding the drive in pic #3, it was a massive hook at #9. Charley – impressive and perplexing I (black pants) had a good look at Regina Plasencia’s second shot out of the rough at #2...more on her later. This guy was charging $5 per item...parked in the right rough at #13 near the OB stakes. These two kids and their dad were the only Amish people I recall seeing at LCC. Hedwall and Meena are on the green. They posted that WEATHER WARNING sign maybe 30-60 minutes before the storm horn was blown at 6 PM...and that storm blew through HARD. If this is the 8th hole, then more than half of the numerals on that scoreboard were partially and completely dislodged.
