Ugh...has Se Ri ever finished DFL? 1) she was having the driver yips...... 2) and probably should've WD'd. But that's not Se Ri. 1) I've heard of putting and chipping yips...heck....I might recently caught them in the past week...ugh. But I've never heard of driver yips...what are they....weak, right hand dominate low hook flips or weak open face heel hit slices? 2) Exactly. At the 2013 USWO.....Wie W/D and couldn't be bothered to wake up and finish her 2nd rd without hope of making the cut. Yet HOF, Se Ri Pak, woke up, had breakfast and finished her 2nd rd...also without hope of making the cut. Hmmmmm...one classy USWO champ vs. one ********** USWO champ.

I'm a little disappointed HJK didn't finish a top 10 to keep her streak going.....oh well...time for HJK to start another great steak.

And, as Ariya Jutanugarn can possible contest by now, it doesn't matter how long you hit it if you're burying the ball in the rough. Ariya might end up being the most exciting player this year. Just when she gets going on a birdie roll....ya never know when she'll implode. I think she'll easily finish top 10 in birdies this year. I am glad to see that Ariya seems to have recovered from her injury....at one point I thought she might have be done before she even started after her injury.

A couple notes from Symetra Tour. Yoon Kyung Heo tied for seventh @ plus 1 Vicky Hurst shot a round in the eighties for the second straight tournament. Not too sure if she is still injured.

I'm giving her a break for this one because she spent Wednesday night in the hospital (for crying out loud!) and probably should've WD'd. But that's not Se Ri. Now if she keeps these scores up through the next couple of tournaments...then we should start to get worried. She's listed as an alternate for Singapore .... ( ? ) Hall of Famer and probably the reason this event exists. She's the reason MOST of the Asian events exist. That's f'd up.

This was her 11th LPGA event, and she has 6 top tens, and never worse than 25th. 2015 T-23rd 2014 win, 4th, 7th, 7th 2013 9th, 22nd 2012 4th, 12th, 18th, 25th

Volvik ? Why would you switch balls at this stage of your career. It's been a huge problem for Stacy Lewis.

Volvik ? Why would you switch balls at this stage of your career. It's been a huge problem for Stacy Lewis. $$$$$$$$$$$ Check out the Sponsorship thread in the news forum. Se Ri signed a sponsorship deal with Volvik. In other news, Amy Yang has moved to 10th in the world ranking. That makes her the fourth rated Korean in the world, moving ahead of Q Baek. Which means she is now one of the four Olympians/International Crown team members. It'll be interesting to see if she can maintain her position on the team over the next year. I recall that Inbee had a breakthrough win at the Evian after years of playing well but never winning. She was about the same age as Amy is now when that happened. Could this be the start of something big for Amy? We'll see!

They mentioned during Coates and Bahamas that it has been a huge adjustment for Stacy, and don't kid yourself... Stacy hasn't played bad yet this year.
I cannot possibly believe that 15-16 is a Victory Lap or Money Grab. I also can't believe Volvik has enough $$ to change Se Ri's bank account significantly. Maybe we'll start seeing Se Ri in all the commercials instead of Chella ( but i doubt it )
Everything we have learned about Se Ri since '98 indicates she plans to accomplish something and enhance her legacy. Why else would she even bother?

Volvik ? Why would you switch balls at this stage of your career. It's been a huge problem for Stacy Lewis. If you skull a wedge and then fat two chips...it doesn't matter whether you play a Bridgestone, Titleist, Srixon, TM, Nike, Volvik, Callaway, etc. I just can't understand why she didn't change to a new model ProV1. Obviously as others suspect....Bridgestone is likely greasing Lewis's palm.
