The usual suspects are in the Monday qualifier, along with a couple of Arkansas Hogs I've seen in person, Regina Plascencia and Maria Fassi. Regina had the first-round lead after 8 holes at the 2015 USWO before collapsing. I've seen Fassi on the range at a couple of USGA events...powerful for sure, but her soph year was mediocre, had a 74.18 avg. She was 72.80 as a freshman, what happened? The Hogs best player in 2016-17 received an invite, Alana Uriell (72.46).
Dumbo is skipping this one, but Ai Miyazato will come back for her last appearance here (she won in 2012). Haeji Kang made some noise at Manulife and in the firsrt round of Meijer...hope she can fight her way into this field. She was a real up-and-comer about five years ago, what happened?

Good to see So Yeon in the field. I don't think In Gee was going to play it anyway.

Saskatchewan is a province, not a providence. Also, you should double-check your trivia question, ie. 2008 LPGA Championship and 2008 USWO.

I believe this is the event last year where J. Song broke up with NYC and NYC started her tailspin.
