Char Young Kim is pretty good looking....doesn't she normally wear pants?....the short skort and knee highs suit her well.

3putt you do realize that Japan has a lot more corporate money than a divided Korea. Ya but...Koreans are golf crazed. Cdn companies would proportionally spend more on hockey vs. US companies...even though the US has a 10+ fold greater GDP than Canada. So why did they lose so many teams to the US?

So why did they lose so many teams to the US? Because anyone with MONEY can grease Bettman to get a franchise....WTF....Las Vegas....really? There are only so many Cdn cities where a NHL team can be viable. Canada has nearly 25% of the NHL's franchises...7/31...yet Merica has nearly 10 fold the Cdn population. IMO...the NHL has too many teams...look at all the weak franchises in the US...including your Phoenix Coyotes...when was the last time you paid to go see them...and I'm not talking about being invited to a game.

I could be wrong, but these guys have not shown one second of the Mini Rocket/Minjee Park match...both with two wins...MP is one-up thru seven holes (started at 10th hole).
They're showing a lot of Winbee, who is one-up over Song Yi Ahn thru six holes. However, Ahn has a much shorter putt on the par-3 7th.

Song Yi Ahn is completely thumping Winbee with her driver...but she's still gonna lose. But, it is shocking...the 12th is a 437-yard par-5 with a pond to the right of the green. Park hits a good one down the middle that gets some decent roll out. Ahn, who is probably outweighed by at least 30 lbs., is a good but not great player in the minor leagues...she murders her drive which CARRIES farther than where Park's finished. But, it means nothing and the par-4 14th is a perfect example. Winbee hits her approach to about 15-20 feet right of the pin, then starts walking. The camera cuts to Ahn, who is so far down the fairway that you can't even see Park in the background. Maybe Ahn was too close as she chunked her wedge...made a great pitch afterward to save par. Park rolls in her birdie putt to go 3-up...Ahn smiles as she heads for the next hole...nice attitude...she knows it's hopeless, so why bother getting mad. Winbee has Srixon headcover...don't know if she switched to a Srixon driver or if it is covering her old XXIO 9 driver (same company). Today's bragging rights to go Ahn's Cally Epic driver.

The round of 16 is set. Here are the matchups:
Left bracket:
Inbee Park vs. Ji Young Kim 2
winner plays:
Cecilia Cho vs. Ye Jin Kim
Seung Hyun Lee vs. Ran Hong -- not sure how the tie between Seung Hyun Lee and Q Baek was broken; presumably they had a playoff. Baek lost, but she had a great week and should be pleased; two wins and one tie (and the playoff loss).
winner plays:
Ka Ram Choi vs. Ji Hyun Kim
Right bracket:
Jin Young Ko vs. Min Ji Park
winner plays:
Yeon Ju Jung vs. Char Young Kim
Eun Soo Jang vs. Jeong Eun Lee 6
winner plays:
Hae Rym Kim vs. Ji Hyun Oh

I hope Jin Young gets off to a better start, because the competition is getting tougher. She has fallen behind all three rounds and had to rally to win second nine. Although it's a lot better than being ahead early and losing late.
