The choppy video quality is just too annoying...I'm dropping off and watching SBS Golf later.
I don't know how or why the 2016 Korea team would consider themselves "superior"...the 2015 team was definitely better and they couldn't win. Last year's team really tried...you could see they were shook up when they lost at the end.
There's a lot of player turnover for Korea and Japan from 2015 to 2016. However, the age distribution hasn't changed...Korea is all youngsters again, while Japan has mixed in several 30-somethings. Maybe Korea should have brought along Shi Hyun Ahn and Jin Joo Hong instead.

I can't stand watch this or the other golf events...playing in dry conditions....all our courses here are wet muck holes.....I tricked myself to play yesterday....knowing the forecast said it would start to rain at 2pm....sure enough...it happened on the 11th tee....WTF.
Oh ya...a Korean lady was playing with a Volvik Vivid red ball...OMG....I've never seen anything so bright...it looked radioactive....it would be tough to putt with...but a good ball to play with in the muck to see it and find it in all the slop.
There has only been 3 days without rain since Oct 1....another WTF.

Anyone watching the Pac 12 Championship?...the Huskies are destroying Colorado.
Happy & Vern..if you aren't watching shame on you.
Our CFL is a joke compared to the NFL and US college ball.

Round 2 Well, I gotta say this was more like it! For the first time in this event's short history, the Koreans swept all four matches, meaning they handed Japan their first two defeats in team competition. They now lead with 12 points, while Japan is second with 11. Here are the results: Korea 12 Japan 11 LET 7 ALPG 2 LET Catriona Matthew/Georgia Hall 6 & 4 over ALPG Katherine Kirk and Lauren Hibbert JLPGA Yumiko Yoshida/Kotone Hori HALVE LET Florentyna Parker/Isabelle Boineau KLPGA Jiyai Shin/Min Sun Kim 4 & 2 over JLPGA Shiho Ohyama/Ai Suzuki KLPGA Hee Won Jung/Seon Woo Bae 3 & 2 over ALPG Stacey Keating/Cathryn Bristow JLPGA Ritsuko Ryu/Megumi Shimokawa 4 & 3 over ALPG Sarah Jane Smith/Sarah Kemp ALPG Su Oh/Whitney Hillier 2 & 1 over LET Linda Wessberg/Nanna Koertz Madsen KLPGA Cecilia Cho/Jin Young Ko 2 & 1 over LET Becky Morgan/Nuria Iturrios KLPGA Su Yeon Jang/Seung Hyun Lee 3 & 2 over JLPGA Erika Kikuchi/Ayaka Watanabe

Besides reducing the points for a win from three to two, the format also changes on Sunday. First, the Friday and Saturday team scores are wiped out. Second, the top two teams from Friday and Saturday play each other exclusively in the single matches to determine the champion. Hmmm...we really didn't need the team matches to determine the finals. Sunday Singles Draw Third Place Final between LET and ALPGMatch 1 8:00 Georgia Hall versus Katherine Kirk Match 2 8:08 Catriona Matthew versus Rachel Hetherington Match 3 8:16 Nuria Iturrios versus Sarah Jane Smith Match 4 8:24 Isabelle Boineau versus Cathryn Bristow Match 5 8:32 Nanna Koerstz Madsen versus Su-Hyun Oh Match 6 8:40 Florentyna Parker versus Sarah Kemp Match 7 8:48 Becky Morgan versus Whitney Hillier Match 8 8:56 Linda Wessberg versus Stacey Keating Championship Final between KLPGA and LPGA of JapanMatch 1 9:10 Jiyai Shin versus Shiho Oyama Match 2 9:18 Min Sun Kim versus Ai Suzuki Match 3 9:26 Su Yeon Jang versus Ritsuko Ryu Match 4 9:34 Hae Rym Kim versus Megumi Shimokawa Match 5 9:42 Jin-Young Ko versus Erika Kikuchi Match 6 9:50 Jeongmin Cho versus Yukari Nishiyama Match 7 9:58 Seon Woo Bae versus Ayaka Watanabe Match 8 10:06 Seung Hyun Lee versus Kotone Hori

I've been watching. Colorado is in big trouble. I watched it and even though I hate Washington, I wanted them to win. My season ticket seat were moved to make room for the big wigs. When Pete Carrol was here and USC started to win big. I was moved next to the visitor section, and the Washington fans were even worse than UCLA fans. Anyway Colorado losing gives USC a chance to go to Rose Bowl.

From what I've read it sounds likes like the Rose Bowl will reluctantly choose Colorado. SC should be in the championship series but it is a lost season thanks to Clay Helton-- a nice guy who is in way over his head.
Everybody except Helton knew Darnold should be the starter from day one. In fact, Darnold should have started as a true freshman over the abysmal Cody Kessler. That is why I like golf more than football, you don't have knuckleheads determining the fate of someone as special as San Clemente Sam.

It figures they would change the format the year the Sisters have the lead after the team portion. If they had done this last year the Koreans probably would have won... Ah well, I have to say I prefer this format. I like how the team's fate is completely in their hands; they are not depending on some third party to win a match against their main opponent. In fact, I wish the International Crown would go to this format: two days to determine the final four, then two semifinals, then a final and consolation. Since there are only four teams here, not eight, I think it's OK to have just one round of finals/consolation. Go Team Korea!!!

JY Shin just rolled in two bombs at # 13 and # 14 to take out Shiho Oyama 5&4. Korea is in a good position to win three more matches, but the other four are too close to call.
