It's an off week for LPGA, and a good week for KLPGA and JLPGA.
No. 1 watch; In Gee cuts Lydia's lead to 6.00 from 9.00 before Ricoh British Women's Open.

I would love to see In Gee catch Lydia, but I can't see it happening this year. Nonetheless, I'm still hoping we have more Dumbo highlights to come this season!

I would love to see In Gee catch Lydia, but I can't see it happening this year. Nonetheless, I'm still hoping we have more Dumbo highlights to come this season! In Gee has been treading water since Evian. She can make a move next week; serious points up for grab. Lydia and Ariya have been helpful by backtracking in their recent events.

IK only won 26.77 Rolex points winning Reignwood; that's pretty stingy compared to 100 points for winning majors.

Ha Na got 35.18 for winning Fubon; Jin Young Ko got about 20.00 for winning LiteJinro.

I could see there being no Americans in the top 10 someday soon. That would be the first time I presume.

I could see there being no Americans in the top 10 someday soon. That would be the first time I presume. It's already lonely at the top for non-Koreans; one each from Thailand, Canada and the US.

There shouldn't be any changes to top 10; none of them made any real points to make any differences.

Carlotta Ciganda won 59.73 for her win; more than my expectation of 56. It's almost as much as the combined total of Ha Na's 35.18 and IK's 26.77.
Meanwhile, In Gee moved to within 1.01 of Ariya as part of ebb and flow of the ranking system.

Minjee Lee got only 22.49, the equivalent of finishing sixth in a major, for her win at Blue Bay. She moved up 2 spots to No. 15.
The top 10 were unchanged.

ShanShan Feng got 38.22 for her win; which paled in comparison to the 59.73 Carlotta got when she won KEB Hana Bank.
So Yeon moved ahead of Stacy Lewis to No. 12.
All top 5 and ten of the top 15 are in the field at Toto Japan Classic; the winner should get about 48.00.
In Gee has a shot at No. 2 with a win; but more likely will stay put.
