Starts Thursday with 1.2 billion Won up for grabs...if you're wondering why the Manulife field is a little weak, look no further than the invitee list for this one: Lexi T. J. Korda H. Nomura (defending champ) Jenny Shin Eun Hee Ji HY Park * J. Song * Inky Hye Jin Choi(A) * Her name is still on the Manulife field list as of 8/28 11:20 AM EST. They also invited three JLPGA regulars: Soo Yun Kang, Asako Fujimoto, and Kaori Ohe.

So did Hanwha drop Ji Young Oh and Sydnee Michaels? I doubt the Rocket is going...she is a past Manulife champ....unless she's trying to make NYC jealous cause Jenn Song has been invited.
So is Hanwha trying to recruit Lexi and Korda as addition whitety's to their portfolio....or how much appearance fee for Lexi....$40k + expenses???

Lexi is different, she can win any tournament any week and that's $240K for Manulife. A good agent would negotiate a package of $200K plus promotions and all expenses. In their heydays, both Tiger and Rory commended a package of $3.0 million plus, which is way more than the first place prize money.

If Hanwha paid Lexi $200k + expenses....then the Hanwha CMO should be fired....and good for Bobby Kreusler....then he's more of a marketing genius and negotiator than BJ. Lexi has played 15 events for $800k this year....an avg of $55k/event. So would you put down money on 1:1 odds or even 2:1 odds for Lexi to win Manulife?....I think not. I'm guessing..... if Lexi played Manulife her odds on winning are maybe 8:1 or worse. I'm really curious why Lexi and Korda are playing this event......I think maybe Hanwha might be interested to get more white faced endorsements.....is Sydnee no longer in their stable? To compared what TW or Rory in their heydays got in appearance fees vs. a LPGA is night and day...no one cares about women's golf.

I saw Bobby at Sahalee and on TV in some recent events....even if we if asked....he's likely not give us a straight answer why?

Everybody has a price; $40.0 K for Jessica and $200.0 K for Lexi.

Sydnee Michaels wore a Hanwha visor at the Marathon in July...don't know why she's not here. She missed Calgary and is 71st on LPGA money list, so she might not feel comfortable skipping another LPGA event. I assume JY Oh was dropped by Hanwha...she's been wearing a Callaway cap all season. J. Song and The Rocket are still on the field list for this one and the Manulife. Tuesday pro-am and party: https://www.instagram.com/p/BJuoPKRAA_k https://www.instagram.com/p/BJuqaSNAELa

It is extremely strange that Sydnee would miss a large purse CWO. I think she use to have a BF from Calgary or maybe it was BC.....she likely read the recent UCP and decided to avoid her stalker ex-BF.

This is the second straight year that Hye Jin Choi(A) will play the Hanwha...I'm sure they desperately want her when she turns pro. She was low am in 2015, 6th place, +4 292, five shots behind Haru Nomura. It's too bad Choi couldn't accept the exemptions she earned into this year's CP CWO and Manulife, but she hasn't been idle. She recently played the 23rd Song Am Cup Amateur Golf Championship in Daegu (Aug 23-26) and killed everyone. She won by eleven strokes at -16, 272. Hae Ran Ryu from the 2016 USWO was twelve shots back. However, Terminator Junior did not play this event.

Sounds like Eun Jeong may be running scared!
OK, maybe not. I'm sure looking forward to their next meeting. I'm thinking HJ will want to even the score!

Phil No need to say Terminator Junior....it's just plain ole Junior. Of all the players from the Pac Rim....I'd like to see many...but specifically SKY, Sharon, Smile Candy, Terminator, Choi and Junior....likely the last three I will see when they become LPGA members or BML if I attend a USWO that she qualifies for. I'd love to attend any if not all of the Asia Swing events and also some KLPGA and JLPGA events too. I think there are some attractive Korean ladies in the KLPGA galleries too. A Korean lady I used to play golf with...... showed me a pic of she and her friends at a KLPGA events....they were all attractive and dressed to the nines.

seems like a gong show at the Hanwha...where is this course?
On Korda's FB page seems like a typhoon.
