Today's insight from Annika Sorenstam: "Haru Nomura is sixth on the money list but she's completely unknown!" When I was watching Haru at the UL she had a rough hole and her partner still had a birdie putt. Her caddie told her "Cheer up, it's a team game. You're in this hole still." Thought it was kinda funny. |

I don't know Candie Kung very well, she seems cool when I've heard her talk. I'd say I'm a fan. Go Candie! BUT...She's not demonstrably emotional. I could see her putting out to win, giving a little wave, a flat interview and letting ALL the air out of the Olympic bag.  "I mean ya, it was a fun week. Thought the medal would be heavier. I'm ready for some non-Rio food, that's for sure." |

I don't know Candie Kung very well, she seems cool when I've heard her talk. I'd say I'm a fan. Go Candie! BUT...She's not demonstrably emotional. I could see her putting out to win, giving a little wave, a flat interview and letting ALL the air out of the Olympic bag. "I mean ya, it was a fun week. Thought the medal would be heavier. I'm ready for some non-Rio food, that's for sure." Candie has a very uneasy ,to say the least, relationship with Taiwan golf. To a point that she almost refused to play under the Taiwan flag anymore ( she is a naturalized US citizen). Safe to say she isn't as "proud" as the others to play for the motherland. |
