I do...but all REAL GC stuff has been replaced by 24/7 Big Break....ugh. Then you still get the great Tom Abbott 24/7. Btw, believe it or not, NYC is actually in Rio, cheering her friends on. And the LOVELY Steph Sparks too. Seriously....why would NYC travel to Rio to end up getting Zika, robbed, raped and then murdered....I just don't get it.

It's impressive coverage to have an 8 1/2 hour time slot to cover twenty threesomes! They said some of these turtles are taking 5.5 hours to complete their rounds. ***** I was not aware that Los Angeles will get the Summer Olympics again in 2024. If golf is still in the Games by then, what course will get it? What course should get it? I assume a new course will not be commissioned for the Games...unless the IOC is running short on its kickback revenue. ***** What is the current thinking by golf architects regarding trees? They don't seem popular now. Obviously, this course has none if the plan was to build a (fake) links course. The free magazine handed out at the 2016 USWA has the early history of Rolling Green GC...it says they planted 5,000 trees during the first five years of the course. On the other hand, Oakmont CC removed thousands of trees since the early '90s, as a way of turning back the clock to a "better" era. Has a course been selected for Japan in 2020? From watching the JLPGA, those courses have trees, and lots of them. Who will own and operate the Rio course after the Games? Through neglect or incompetence, it would be a shame if it reverts to the garbage dump it once was. Weren't trees also removed from Pinehurst #2? I think the land is owned privately....so I think it will be redeveloped once the contract has expired.

They probably removed trees at Pinehurst #2. The most noticeable change was putting in (or reinstating) the sandy waste areas along the fairways that had plugs of wispy scrub grass growing in them.

Ol Brandle Chamble on Golf Channel was saying only Jordan $Pieth makes more putts per GIR than our Lydia. 1.707 to 1.717.

Sorry, I am not proficient in posting clear Instagram photos. Does anybody know who the beard is with HYP?

"Beard?!" Are you implying that HYP plays for the "other team?!" That would be surprising, but what do I know? I don't believe the speculation on Jennifer Song, but maybe I'm wrong about that, too. BTW, I think it's a different Jang Woo Lee in the pic above. I think it's this Jang Woo Lee, born in 1973: entertain.naver.com/read?oid=018&aid=0003575276

Thanks for posting that pic of NYC...I'd be happy to receive peanuts and drinks from her on a flight. Now I also know what TV station over there is carrying the women's golf...will check it out tomorrow AM.

Isn't NYC part of the Korean tv coverage? And they like to dress like flight attendant. NYC better make sure she serves warm macadamia nuts on a plate, and not just toss a bag of peanuts to the passengers.

Today's insight from Annika Sorenstam:
"Haru Nomura is sixth on the money list but she's completely unknown!"

Good start by Inbee and Sei Young. They both missed a few makeable putts.
In Gee was a little up and down, but she is still in the hunt. Amy as she does sometimes just going thru the motion.
