I'm so proud of Inbee and how she played today. Man, is she a fighter! She knows that a lot of Koreans have wondered if she should have stepped aside to allow a healthier player to take her spot. And she was bound and determined to show she could compete. Mission accomplished! Today she hit most of her fairways and greens, made no bogies, and even though she missed a bunch of shortish putts on the back, still at times showed the putting form that she is famous for. If a few more of those great opportunities start falling, watch out!
Now, to be honest, there's no way to know if she can keep it up, at least not yet. So tomorrow is a very important day. If she can follow up her 66 with another strong round, I think we may be onto something. Rooting big time for you, Inbee!!
Sei Young Kim also was very solid today in posting her own 66. Although In Gee was very up and down on the front nine, she rallied big time on the back, moving from 2 over to 1 under. She is still very much in this, but she needs to play a good 18 holes, not a good ten holes, on Thursday.
Amy was the only Sister who was not all that strong, but she still is close enough that she could rally.
GO SISTERS!!!! Hwaiting!

I know Amy's loop had a heart attack....but Greg Johnson???....really???....he use to loop for her years ago.
Why not ask Jenn Song to loop.
Oh....there's ONLY ONE....Hee Young ........and her last name is not Yang...nuff said.
These block heads on my coverage are brutal....they been calling her...Gerina Miller for quite some time...ugh.

They better show In Gee's holeout! Heaven knows they showed that dude holing out about 50 times already. Just curious: has anyone seen any reference whatsoever on the main NBC shows (Costas, Seacrest, Today show) to the women's Olympic golf tournament? I saw Feherty show up several times in prime time to hype the men, but have yet to see anything about the ladies. But even I don't watch everything. Also, would someone tell Stupples and Gannon that Sei Young Kim is not a Major champion? Not yet, anyway. It's getting a bit embarrassing. (But props to Tom Abbott for mentioning that the Korean archery team might just be as tough a ticket for a Korean as the golf team. Not sure that's true, but it certainly is in the same ballpark). Stacy is already idolized by every Korean girl golfer. I can't even imagine how things will be after Saturday.
I knew that once she got married she'd be unstoppable. Life is more than just practicing golf 12 hours per day, doing what ever your crazy parents say and taking pictures of yourself flashing the peace sign.
