Blah...I don't get FS1 here....all I'll get on TSN2 is the boy's Am today. I wanted to see Choi & Seong's game. Hmmmmm....no whitety's are left....those Koreans (3 real & 1 fake) beat up on the pasty faces. White Lives Matter! I remember seeing lots of the 2012 girl's Am in 2012 on GC. Don't know why Golf Chanel didn't show it last year. You would think that they would have liked to show another player with a name like... Princess Mary Superal.Who won in 2014. They showed the men's Junior

When the USGA signed up with Fox to do a multi-year deal for USO starting in 2015, that was a package deal including the USWO, the USWA, the boys/girls championships, etc.

I guess I could have watched it on Fox. I also don't remember seeing it scheduled there.

What should have been the boy's Am on TSN2....I got the girl's Am....all right. Choi played sloppy on the back 9 causing her loss.
OK...one real & one fake for the finals.
Hmmmm....Diana Murphy and Mike Davis are present...USGA HQ nearby. I guess Diana got a talk from the BoD...she had a water bottle with her instead of a spritzer.

So are Choi and Seong's expenses paid by some Korean Golf federation? Are they using Tina as a consultant to get some rich old guy to setup a FAKE trust fund to also pay for expenses.
So is KB Bank getting some free advertising on Choi?....lol. Hmmmmm....I wonder which OEM Seong signs with?....TMaG....lol...she looks like a walking billboard.

Wow, didn't see Choi losing to Lee in this one. Choi seems to have been eating her opponents for lunch all week, except for when she was eating them as a pre-lunch snack.
Even in the semis, she was one up with two to play. Give Lee props: she stepped up and birdied her final two holes after that. That's hardcore.
Meanwhile, Seong rolled over her Korean opponent Son. So we don't get the match up that would have been really intriguing, Choi vs. Seong, but now Lee has a chance to take down a girl she calls her good friend in the final. What crowd there is there should be firmly in her camp.
And Seong has shown some signs of fatigue, commenting on being tired the last couple of days. She had better not take this win for granted, that's for sure.
Good luck to the two of them!

Phil I'd also be interested in detail of Choi's game. But please don't say Choi has a Lydia style game.....otherwise Happyfan will go postal and start hating Choi. Any good finds at the PGA Superstore....I've never been to one...how does it compare to Golfsmith....GG is junk. Does it carry used stuff? Is Muni friendly outside the ropes? Did you chat with any parents? You'll have to wait for my report on the matches. As for the PGA Tour Superstore, the interior is massive (they also have tennis stuff). It must be at least double the size of a typical GolfSmith or Golf Galaxy (there was a GG on the other side of Rte. 17, but I didn't visit). They have numerous bays for lessons and fittings on the far end of the floor which go half way around a corner along the next wall. The putting test carpet is enormous. You could fill up a GolfSmith with just their left-handed clubs! OF course, they have all the major brands, plus a few you don't see in a typical GolfSmith (Wilson, Honma, XXIO, and the New Hogans). Also saw wedges from Edel and Fourteen. They have a huge counter near the entrance where a couple of guys were installing new grips. Of course, they have used clubs, but I wasn't in the market for anything so I didn't study the prices. They had several Honma demo irons on sale, the 717 series and some Beres models...it was cool to handle stuff like that in person for once in my life.

OK....looks like I'll have to venture to a PGA Superstore one day. We have all the premium Japanese clubs here in our Golf Towns and lots of clubs in use too. Asian Lives Rule in Van City.

I've been passing a PGA Superstore on the San Diego Freeway in Irvine for years. Never bothered to go in. I figured it was full of bad fitting PGA logo golf shirts and little else. I'm going to check it out later today.

That's like a kid who doesn't want to go into a Toys R Us. I'm gonna see if I can find a man purse cheap on Amazon and ship it your way. No wonder you're too scared to join WRX ....nuff said.

After being 4 down...Seong SURGES on the back 9 like a champ and dismantles the FAKE on the final 9 holes....holy moly.

Seong really showed what a great player she may become, with a great back nine. Even though she won yesterday, she did not play great golf. Kudos to Lee for second place finish, she got beat by a better player.

I hope EJS plays 2 or 3 tournaments as a pro in Korea before she comes to the US for good. She's the real deal.

I'm going to go to the Roger Dunn Superstore in Santa Ana at 4am. The front door will be locked. It will still be superior to PGA Superstore. If I was left handed I'd go back to PGA but it's 400 yards off the freeway. Tiny Filipino, Korean Japanese stores in LA are better. But if I win $2000 in Vegas next week I'm going back to PGA SS for the XX10 prime irons. I need flashy. demo was sweet. $1,999. So worth it.
