I hope Haley and Muni can advance. This is a tune up for San Diego Country Club 2017.

Congrats to HJ Choi on another little feather in her cap, co-medalist. I read that Eun Jeong Seong was followed by a bunch of college coaches trying to recruit her for their schools. Good luck doing that! Let the match play begin! If the day one Seong shows up, should be a massacre. If the day two Seong comes, however, might be closer. Go Sisters!

Although RCC will be swarming with recruiters, it would be a miracle if one of them signed her. Has a U.S. college ever gotten a top-notch Korean who lived in Korea full time? I can't think of one. I'm hitting the road in a couple of minutes. After learning that there is PGA Superstore next to RCC, I have scrapped my plans for playing golf later in the day.

I read an interview that Duke seriously recruited So Yeon Ryu before she turned pro at 17 and joined the KLPGA, but she decided it would be much more convenient to join the KLPGA, make a ton of money there, and attend a Korean college the rest of the time. Since most of the KLPGA events were three day affairs, she could attend classes three days a week, hop in a car and drive to a tournament, and earn some pocket change on the weekend. Inbee Park also played for UNLV. For about three days. Then she dropped out, turned pro and the rest is history.

Hye Jin Choi beat Ms. Whiston 4 & 3. Seong's match has just started; she is 1 up through 4 over Katherine Muzi.

That's great news about Haley. She is someone that is easy to like as evidenced by the crowd pulling her at ANA in 2015.

Hmmmm....looks like Phil is filled with bad karma. Muni got demolished 6-5 by a Canuck....Muni likely freaked out that a middle aged white guy was fanboying her. And if I'm reading it correctly...Kelly Sim got DQ'd

It will take Muni 15 to 20 minutes to find the richest boy at USC and she'll be on easy street for the rest of her life. She doesn't need to worry about golf.

Fanofseri knows what he's talking about: Haley Moore was impressive for Arizona Golf team in the NCAA. She almost carried the team.

The USGA if full of sh*t...they don't care about women's golf. If one looks at the future sked....other Am events will be played at Riviera, LA G&CC, Pebble, etc...yet the USWO has never been held at these courses....but hosted at recent goat tracks like Cordevalle.
And Diana "CLOWN" Murphy is more interested in whether a Shiraz or Pinot Noir is served at dinner to care....what a JOKE.

Every time I look up U.S.Girls Junior Leaderboard I get the men's first. Which tells me the Lady Golfers are an after thought to them.

At least the new US Senior Women Open will be at Chicago Golf Club. That will be tremendous.
