There are 20 full cards available this year. Nice third day by Ha Na. She is getting into a real rhythm. Two more days! Ju Young sitting pretty at 8 under along with top Korean American star Alison Lee. Nice job so far by Sei Young Kim and Minjee Lee as well, and Su Oh is not far off the pace, either. Keep fighting, Sisters!!!

Keep it going, Ha Na! She would be a pleasant and fun addition to the tour.

The Hulk is showing her 25th world ranking with a very smart 68 on the Hills course. The Hills course is suppose to be the tougher track....though on paper....the Jones course is sloped tougher. For the 1st time the 5th rd will be played on Hills.....therefore I expect the cut to 20th place to remain at -5. There will be some tears of frustration and joy tomorrow.
Some of the gals took advantage of the Jones course today to establish a bit of cushion into the top 20.

Another nice round by Ha Na Jang on the harder course, a 68. Here are some awesome quotes from an article about her posted on the LPGA site: “I’m really excited to be trying for my LPGA Tour card tomorrow,” Jang said. “Even though I have a good enough score to get my card right now I’m going to try get to 20-under and be the hot story of this tournament.” “I think this week is going to be the turning point in my golf life,” Jang said. “I really want to get on the LPGA so I can inspire kids. Growing up in South Korea we had Se Ri kids and Inbee kids and I want to be Korea’s next best player in the LPGA so there are Ha Na kids.” Good luck on being the hot story tomorrow, Ha Na! Also, great 66 by Minjee to move into third. Su Oh made the cut but has a lot of work to do to get a card, but Minjee is in good position to grab one tomorrow! Also nice to see Ju Young Park T-4th at 10 under, and Sei Young Kim T-9th at 8 under. And a special shout out to Soo Bin Kim from U of Washington! Go Huskies! She's at 8 under as well. GO SISTERS!!!!

Yay, SooBin! Please shoot well under tomorrow. The requiem for a couple of players' careers? I've heard Lorie Kane's name mentioned regarding she holding the most top tens in the field by far with 99. It looks like she will never achieve no. 100. Then there is the obscure Nicole Jeray. She has been on the tour for 20 years, two years longer than Kane, with career earnings of a little over a quarter of a million dollars (how could she afford that?) and only one measly top ten. Each season she managed to scrape by somehow. No longer.

One win and 10 top tens in her 15 year career, but has struggled terribly last couple of seasons and now looks to be done. Also, this is probably the last time we see Chie Arimura in the US. Finished near the bottom of Q-School, did not play well in two seasons, struggled to adjust to life in the US, and will likely return to the JLPGA. Such a shame - I was really pulling for her. Also, what the heck happened to Vicky Hurst?! Is this it? Have we seen the last of her? It's shocking to think so.

Tough day today. Only nine under par rounds. One of those rounds was turned in by Cheyenne Woods, who earns her card, so expect that to be the story for the next three months. Jang was lucky she built such a lead, as she and Mini Rocket played terribly all day. Still, they're in, as is Sakura Yokomine. I'm going to do a full write up on this event sometime tonight, but in the meantime, five Korean golfers win their cards, including Julie Yang, who was able to sneak in. What an interesting rookie class this will be.

What an interesting rookie class this will be. I don't think Julie Yang is in yet. Correct me if I am wrong, but the Pri 12 is top 20 only, no ties. The 7 players at -4 are in a playoff for the final 3 spots the way I understand it. The Pri 20 is top 45 and ties.

Proud of Ju Young for hanging in there on the back nine. After going five over on the front I thought that she had blown it. However she kept her place on the back nine, by going even par.
All my favorites got their cards.
Also give credit to Cheyenne Woods, even though some of you don't like her. She did not give up after the second round seventy nine. I like golfers that keep fighting until the last hole is played.

I knew it was top 20, but I assumed it was like the PGA Tour, which was top 20 and ties. I did not know there would be a playoff for the final cards. In the end, Yang was unable to secure her card. Such a shame, seeing how well her day was going.

I honestly don't dislike Cheyenne. I dislike the coverage around her. I dislike how she seemed to get into tournament solely based on her last name and her blood line. She has her card now, and if she can play well, I will have absolutely no problem with her being on Tour; in fact, it's probably a good thing in the long run as she is a needle mover.

It's great they played the tougher Hills course as their final rd to put more stress on Sunday. Congrats to all who earned their 2015 exempt cards. As I predicted......one of Ariya and Hull didn't gain their exempt card.....although Hull did have the low rd of the day....68. I read an article that Charley doesn't like to listen. I think if she was coached by Butch/Gilcrest, etc and had a tenured and firm LPGA loop......she'd improve. I also believe she should dump her Titleist blades and switch to GI irons....heck...Spieth destroyed the fields the last 2 weeks and plays AP2's. But Hull is young......she will make well in excess of $500k this year in earnings and endorsements....not bad for an 18 year old.

Glad to see Minjee & Alison Lee as co-medalists. Alison looks Eurasian......is her mother Caucasian?

But I do like her moxy to say she didn't just want to play safe today.

HappyFan & Verdantgarden: Are you U. of Washington alumni? You both are rooting for Soo Bin.....but I've never seen you cheer for Paige MacKenzie, Sadena Parks, James Lepp, Nick Taylor or other Huskie golf grads....a little biased are we.....lol. I chatted with the U. of Wash women's assistant golf coach in 2013 at a women's Canadian tour event....at the time she was kinda disappointed that Soo Bin was not giving her all to golf.....glad things have changed/turned around and she'll now be a F/T LPGA pro........there will be big shoes to fill on the Huskie's team now. Soo Bin's family resides in Coquitlam, BC.....the 2015 CP CWO will be a 'home' game for Soo Bin.....the Vancouver Golf Club is located in Coquitlam.....and I'm pretty sure Soo Bin was a junior member at the club.
