Olympia Fields may be a decent follow up. Although, the 2003 US Open was a real borefest. Hopefully SHP will be here full time by then and she can over power the place. I don't think OF or Kemper can compete with Sahalee. Do you think Chitown will support the KPMG will huge galleries? The KPMG should be played globally....they have top clients in major cities.

Agreed. Such a cool outfit. Night and day over the mess she wore Saturday. May be the best look she's ever had. Arg the LPGA needs to hire you as a consultant. And if Whan says, "who are you?" You can counter with, "excuse me sir but have you missed the wrx fashion thread?" And he would say, "is that one with Soo Jin! You're hired!" It's too bad KPMG Ambassador Stacy Lewis played so poorly that she didn't make it into the TV broadcast... because her outfit was outstanding!

When I watched IGC at Nabisco, her putting and chipping was superb. I wonder how it could have gone so wrong? My only criticism with her game was, how can someone who is so big, hit such average distance drives? It was like watching Nick Faldo all over again. CordeValle will likely be all about putting. stanutley.com/contact/ Yup....Dumbo was deadly with her flat stick at the fake major. Dumbo is better than average....but obviously not a bomber. Dumbo is Iron Byron...a tight, controlled and repeatable swing. Dumbo's around 5'9"...Creamer and Gulbis are 5'9" too and average distance at best...and Anna N is huge yet before was very average too. As you know height doesn't necessarily equate to distance...look at Fowler. On another note...on the range...it's pretty sad to see Ko go through her A swing positions...ugh. And Sean Hogan was with HYP's every step...another ugh. Tina knows nothing about golf and drank BJ's Kool-Aid. She should have sought out Butch or Gilchrest after she nuked Guy Wilson.

OK boys and girls...now onto a REAL major at Oakmont.....Meijer will get NO attention. Oakmont will identify the best player in the world. Remember when Paula, absolutely humiliated the rest of the field? That was back when Korea thought NYC was the anointed one and Suzann was a surefire hall of famer. Who knows, in five years, Lydia may be asking Angela Park if her hotel needs a night auditor. You're on fire....LMAO.

I think In Gee has been taking it easy. She knows the stretch of golf she wants includes the USOpen and Olympics. She's about to kick it into high gear mentally. Super glad she made the field in Chicago. Conway Farms is a nice golf course in a golf crazy community. I may see that tournament instead of the US Open. I bet the gallery may exceed 1,500 per day. The IC is not being held at Conway Farms. It was moved from Rich Harvest Farms to the Merit Club in Gurnee, IL.

I'm looking for an excuse to quit my day job. Gawd, LPGA "fashion" is awful, especially in the cold/wet. Mind you, it's not as bad as the LET. I've spent hours pouring over LET photos, and they're simply dreadful. Let's start by banning baggy shorts and knee-length shorts. You either wear a nice skort, preferably with pleats, or you wear proper shorts or tailored slacks. Minjee knows how to wear pants when she's not in a nice skort.

Lol. What do you think The Dragon Lady put in those pieces of fruit? Tina is a drill Sargent....she makes sure Lydia doesn't eat any junk food....I think I saw an interview where Lydia says she seldom eats junk food...likely dictated to her. In 2012 Lydia, Mom and a friend were eating cherry tomatoes, gimbap and watermelon. Dumbo was also asking vols if the wanted her fruit too....I think she had cocktail swords to hand out too. Dumbo wants to be well liked on tour like Lydia....doing whatever it takes to make everyone like her. Whatever she's doing, it's a great strategy to keep loose during the tournament. Me, I'd be tossing down a dozen Krispy Kreme's.

It's hard to tell. For such a golf crazed big city, Chicago is underrepresented with tournaments, hosting the BMW ever two years. Bah. For goodness sakes, Texas, California, and Florida have what, 15 PGA tournaments total? You would think that the city would come out in waves. On the flipside, we have a short golf season, so many fans would probably rather be on the course playing, rather than standing in a crowd. Also, there just aren't many female players in the area, so I'm not sure if the women can draw a crowd. Lastly, Olympia Fields is in the far southern suburbs. The northern part of the city doesn't believe there is any life south of downtown, and some think it's downright dangerous, so I don't think they can draw north side fans. A north suburban course would likely have better attendance. That's a big reason the BMW was moved from Cog Hill in Lemont to Conway Farms in Lake Forest.

LMAO A guy I often play golf with...when he has a bad rd...we need to stop at a Tim Horton's so he can buy a dozen donuts...he'll have 5 finishes within 5 minutes....lol. There was a scam up here...many KK franchisees gave money to a fraudster for the initial start up costs...some franchises closed down quickly....I believe we only have one KK here in Van City and it's just too late to re-enter the market with Tim's market share dominance. I grew up in Hamilton where the 1st Timmie's opened up.

The KPMG was pretty brilliant. For Brooke, Ko and Ariya to shoot in the 60's without a bogey is pretty special. The par 4's 8, 12, 15, 16, 18 are not easy holes.
But I kinda wish they set the course up with more length and tucked pins...I like HUGE stress for a major...too many under par rds yesterday...considering how tough it was playing during the 1st 3 rds.

Brooke is a good looking young woman, and should be able to wear a variety of styles. However, she's quickly fallen into a fashion funk. Heck, I'd be happy if she followed Lexi's lead. At least Lexi is willing to mix it up. 'Could be worse I guess. She could be following the Stacy Lewis school of fashion.

Sahalee is unique but Olympia Fields should be able to hold its own and it should be a good tournament. I played Kemper Lakes a long time ago and thought it was boring with too much water. The only thing I remember about the PGA, was Payne Stewart laughing during Radar Reid's collapse--revealing that he was a world class creep. Chicago loves the PGA and especially Tiger. I don't believe Chicago will support the KPMG like they did in Seattle. Unless some of the Chicago Bears are allowed into the field.
