Are still at Sahalee or playing on an executive course today? Why so easy? More accessible pins..and I've got to believe they watered the greens last night and didn't double cut nor double rolled them this morning. I also believe they moved up some tees on the long par 4's. I think the fairways are playing faster too. The scoring is night and day vs. the 1st 3 rds. |

I said after round 1 that Brooke would win. Although it wasn't easy. Team Korea and Team USA are each in a major slump. There are still several more majors to go with a chance for redemption.

OK...OK...I'm an embarrassment to Canada....I was rooting for Ko to win....Congrats to Brooke...well done. The Golf Gods were shining on Brooke...eagle at 11, birdie on 17, missing the trees at 18 and a fantastic par on 18....but Ko has herself to blame...she should have sank the birdie at 17 to end it. I didn't watch Brooke play in 2 days....I only saw her tee off on 14 after her ace....I like Brooke. I guess I'm just not racist like many and root for the individual vs. nationality. Ko's lack of length will stop her from domination...she needs to see Mannika for her JUICE program. Great 3rd place finish and one stroke from a playoff from Ariya....to follow up 3 wins in a row. Obviously I would have liked to see the LOVELY HYP win it all....but based on her performance the last few years....T4 is great. Mericans gagged it again and the Koreans weren't far behind....lol. Gerina could have been the 1st brunette to win in a very long time and succumbed to the pressure...Bam doesn't believe in herself. The Korean Reign of Terror is over too...they should be ashamed. I read on WRX...supposedly Brooke will move to #2 in RR? If this was the KPLGA...The Rocket would have been presented with the Best Dressed Award by Derek Sprague at the trophy presentation a showered with rose petals. Kudos to Sahalee, KPMG, PGA of America....for a great REAL major...what a FANTASTIC week!!! To get some creditably....the WBO needs to drop the jokers at the LGU and get the misogynist R & A to conduct the event or be dropped as a major.....they also need better fan support. Drop the fake ANA and water company major ...give the CWO back it's major status and have Samsung or Hyundai sponsor the Korean Open as the LPGA's 5th major....nuff said |

This has to be the strongest leader board I have ever seen on an LPGA event. In a Major, the cream is suppose to rise to the top. They certainly did. The following players all finished in the top 12. Brooke, Ko, Ariya, HYP, Ryu, Mirim, Amy Yang, Nordqvist, Chella, Sei Young, Minjee, Pettersen, Piller. It doesn't get much better than that! (In Gee & Lexi only obvious omissions). Tony You've finally seen the light and no longer fanboying Ms. Pouty Face.....I was telling a spectator that Ko always has Lewis's number when paired together and Thurs/Fri were no exception. |
