No surprise that there are 15 pro and amateur exemptions (I assume all from Taiwan). The Monday qualifier should be pretty deep...the current alternate list:
1. Lindy Duncan 2. Pannarat Thanapolboonyaras 3. Benyapa Niphatsophon 4. Jing Yan 5. Belen Mozo 6. Amelia Lewis 7. SooBin Kim 8. Joanna Klatten 9. Dori Carter 10. Katherine Kirk 11. Jane Rah 12. Ji Young Oh 13. Felicity Johnson 14. Dewi Claire Schreefel 15. Haeji Kang 16. Giulia Sergas 17. Ashleigh Simon 18. Natalie Gulbis 19. Becky Morgan 20. Lisa Ferrero 41 additional alternates

Both Sei Young and In Gee can displace Stacy Lewis as RR No. 4 by a win or finishing a solo second.

Minjee jumped to No. 12 on RR; bumping Cristi Kerr to No. 16. There're now 10 Korean descents, 2 Americans, 1 Canadian, 1 Chinese and 1 Norwegian in the top 15.

Kim Welch is still trying. I thought she had given up on pro golf. I have not seen her name on the Symetra tour first two tournaments list. Any way, luck to her. She needs it.

It would be an interesting query for someone w/ the data. A few of Annika's later years she hadn't done it but then I hit the end of her prime. Like 1, 1, 1, 3, 1, 3, 1. I forget but it was crazy. Ai didn't do it in her 2010 campaign. Yani never did it. Lydia hasn't done it. 4 top 3s in a row is really something.

LPGA and Golf Channel is at a cross road.
Cristie Kerr won 2015 CME Globe tournament. At the end of 2015, LPGA can count Cristie, Stacy, Lexi, Michelle and Paula as legitimate American superstars.
But 2016 has been a train wreck for Cristie, Stacy, Michelle and Paula; even Lexi is not as big a shining star when compared to Lydia, Brooke and Minjee.
LPGA can continue to fight the reality and deny the facts but time is running out.

She's got major name recognition in golf. They could use her going for a Lydia Slam. 2 in a row right now. You make a good point though. The famous featured pairings aren't always performing. Lexi, Korda and A. Lee is a pretty good young trio but Korda and Lee haven't been consistent. Megan Khang and O'Sullivan have a good chance to be top 25 ranked players. There is very little room for American's on the weekend right now though.

I can't believe 90% of the Symetra tour continues to grind it out year over year with unrealistic chances of making or staying on the LPGA tour.

Seriously....can you honestly say you like the 4 pros you mentioned? If yes, I'd love to hear why you like each...this should be fun...if I was a betting man .......you will have no reply. Merica needs to wake up and start rooting for the real gals that drive the tour...not a bunch of actresses who pretend to be golfers.
