Nomura beat down those players. On to Dallas. Maybe Se Ri makes the cut and IGC poses in a cowboy hat.

Congrats to Nomura....the Golf Gods let her get away with cheating for the win. The Asian Reign of Terror continues....4 straight fake Korean wins now. Shut it down Merica....it's over.
It must be miserable living in such a damp cold city...but I love how the gals got beat up this week....good to watch. The Canadian Princess continues her top 10 streak.
It would have been interesting seeing how Dumbo struggled.

I was hoping NYC or SYR would do something. No need to watch this one. I will go play 9 holes at Ben Brown's instead. Nice looking course...yup....2221 yds from the blues is kinda your speed....lol.

Congratulation to Haru Nomura for her second win this year.
Kudos to So Yeon for her top five finish. Even though first round score had a lot to do with her position. However with the bad starts she had the last three days, she did not give up. She could have mailed it in each day. Instead she kept fighting and I am proud of her for that.
Good second place finish for Lee Anne, one of the nicest persons on tour. Also congratulation to Gerina and Na Yeon for top fives on a tough day.
Gerina keeps putting herself in contention, she is going to win soon.

Round 4
Congrats to Nomura. I saw a few of the highlights. Choi was breathing down her neck, Nomura hits a bad tee shot; and promptly dunks a sixty footer for birdie. When it's your week, it's your week.
Then Choi sets herself up for a ten foot eagle putt and doesn't even sniff the hole. That would have tied her for the lead. After that, things went south for NYC. Still, a good week for her, T-3rd.
So Yeon had another tough day, but 75 was practically a 65 out there, so she managed a top five. I'm glad after her great start that she didn't completely fall apart.
Jenny Shin and MJ Hur also notch top tens. Minjee, playing with In Gee, shot a 76 and still narrowly missed a top ten.
Oi, In Gee had a tough one out there. She has played wind before, so it's hard to say why it seems to have affected her so much this week. But she was hurt even more than the rest of the field; her 80 was one of the worst out there. Still, she just missed out on a top 20, so even though this was by far her worst week of the year, she can take the positive of her great round yesterday and an all right finish.
Sisters Hwaiting!

Haru could've built a sand castle with her hands and be assessed a penalty and she still would've won this. She was the few ones out there today to keep her head in the wind.
Wasn't the birdie by Shanshan on 17 one of the weirdest things you've seen?

On Sunday I only saw the last couple of holes near the end. They had a high view of Nomura's group leaving the 17th green and walking a few steps to the 18th tee. Wow, there was almost no one following them...and where was the line of volunteers stretching a rope across the 18th fairway as the masses followed behind the last group? Wait a minute, that's the KLPGA...never mind. The small uncovered grandstand directly behind the 18th green was half-filled at best. Well, the grounds pass prices were not cheap...if you're going to pay to freeze your butt off, you'd be better off watching the Giants play the Marlins. It didn't help that Nomura and Pace were the leaders...nobody cares about them. Heck, the Koreans sat on their hands when Nomura won in Korea last year. I guess posting more than four names on a manual scoreboard would have overtaxed their resources. Ryu had a big crowd watching her putt at #1. Maybe they headed for warm shelter before the end of the day.

Judging by your photo, the crowd was following Lydia and So Yeon. Not surprising, but that's what happens when two virtually unknown players are in the final group

You know that Merica doesn't watch women's golf.....Lancaster was an aberration. Just wait till Prattville next week....there will be more excitement at the local old age home. Besides...everyone left after MW's fake injury. Heck....the minor league JLPGA has larger galleries.

Good second place finish for Lee Anne, one of the nicest persons on tour. I only saw Lee Anne for a short time at the CP CWO...yes she seems to be a really nice young lady...when she walks by .....she looks and smiles vs. many pros who look down or away to avoid eye contact...or maybe the pros are looking away to guard their eyes to avoid seeing the Chinese Quasimodo.

Not surprising, but that's what happens when two virtually unknown players are in the final group The are unknown because the Golf Chanel has a few favorites that they focus on every tournament. Mostly the same players are in the feature groups every Thursday and Friday. Some players have to be in the top five on the weekend to ever get shown. Even then, the Channel has to give their favorites air time, even if they are not in the hunt.

Nothing against Haru Nomura, but I'm not sure I understand how she got away with obviously building a stance in the bunker when Sun Ju Ahn was crucified for doing the same thing at the British a few years ago. Don't give me this nonsense about not having a way to keep her balance if she didn't do that; she could have found a way even if it meant aiming in the other direction (the rules don't guarantee that you can have a good shot, only a shot), and Ahn did what she did because she was in the same situation. Well, whatever... Someone on WRX posted a video of Ahn (1.50)....Ahn was clearly building a stance....IMO....Nomura was very borderline .....and her stance was far more steep than Ahn's situation...I can't find a video on the internet that works...but I do have the recording still. www.golfchannel.com/media/womens-british-open-round-3-action/
