Tom Abbott is world class. As good as anyone I've ever heard. Except for Ken Venturi, Henry Longhurst, John Miller and Peter Alliss.

Round 2 Whew, as an In Gee fan, that was hard to watch. I'm not sure if it was the wind or what, but she just wasn't on her long game today; it seemed every time they showed her, she either had a tough up and down or a fifteen foot par save. Somehow she shot a 74, but it could have been much worse. Whatever, it's good experience, you can't get a top two every week, and who knows, she might be able to rally and still have a great finish. Keep smiling, In Gee, and let's make a run the next two days!!!!! So Yeon had a horrific start, but somehow managed to limit the damage after that and is still right in this thing. And she'll be playing with her good friend Na Yeon Choi tomorrow. That's the group I'll be rooting for. I like Minjee, but we don't really need another down under winner (that would be four in a row!), and needless to say, the thought of watching Lydia plod to another victory does not thrill me, either. GO SO YEON! Sisters Hwaiting!

Lol. So you'd rather So Yeon plods to victory? With the (maybe) exception of Gerina everyone within 6 shots is a plodder. For that matter most of the field every week falls into that category, Lydia is just better at it than all of them so she stands out.
I'll be very happy for another Down Under win, we've ridden Karrie's back for so long it's nice to have some other regular contenders.

With her, despite her incredible talent, you never know if the next hole will be brilliant or the start of a collapse. I'm on the edge of my seat watching her. And given that she hasn't won since 2014, she is long overdue another trophy. Of course, there's a long way to go before that conversation can start. Still two more days of golf, so... Go So Yeon!

We'll find out today whether In Gee was neutralized by winds or she simply didn't play well.
Temperature will be in the 60's and wind will be less than 15 miles per hour during In Gee's play.
I'd be disappointed if she doesn't at least match the -1 she posted during Round 1.

www.koreadaily.com/news/read.asp?art_id=4206583In Gee will be signing autographs at Paris Baguette at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 25 in Santa Clara Lawrence Plaza. Paris Baguette is a successful Korean international restaurant chain. This is a continual expansion of In Gee's Korean marketing prowess. There is still no signs of marketing activities outside of Korea. Additionally, In Gee will be presented by USGA to promote US Women's Open.

Round 1 Obviously, the big news is So Yeon's fantastic opening round. Great to see her finally show some results from her swing work. Whenever she contends or wins, she usually gets out to a great start, so I'm hopeful she can keep it up. Great JINX Happy = a sweet 75 for SYR. SYR doesn't want to talk about the Olympics because she's tired of listening to the Korean media calling her a LOSER cause she not currently on the team.

Leftagain: Happy slams The Kiwi Princess because she's a fake and he doesn't like The Dragon Lady who reminds him of his MIL....who wanted her daughter to marry a real Korean. The entire squad of the real Koreans are plodders...that's why they win....they are all yellowed skinned versions of Mannika....they just watch all their competitors choke on the back 9 on Sunday enroute to the trophy presentation.

In Gee will be signing autographs at Paris Baguette at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 25 in Santa Clara Lawrence Plaza. Is Dumbo sponsored by Paris Baguette?...if not...then why is she doing this vs. flying out to Dallas?....maybe she's showing off the bruises on her back to demonstrate that her injury is not a fake. Paris Baguette must be gossip central for all the San Jose and San Fran Korean housewives.

I'm sad to see Kerr dump Greg Johnson. It was nice to watch Happy Face Lewis whining and pouting on her way to a 76.....Ko always smokes Stacy when they are paired together.
You heard it from The Smiling Buddha 1st....Lang & Ko will be put on the clock today.
That crazy Lexi putting with her eyes closed again with the sledge hammer....yikes.

Food and beverage, it wouldn't be a coincidence if In Gee is sponsored by both Hite and SPC. www.spc.co.kr/spc/eng/main.spc

Scoring is high today, it's not due to the weather.
Most likely, the course is becoming hard and fast. Also, tee may be lengthened and pins in tricky locations.
Normally, this is the condition In Gee excels; but I wouldn't hold my breadth because of her mediocre plays this week.

I knew So Yeon could not come close to her first round score. I did not see her shooting plus three either. Even though she has not contended all year, her ball striking has been sound. She's still near the top, so I'm hoping for a great weekend.
Don't know what to make of Sei Young Kim. She has been up and down all year.

Even though Sei Young Kim and Ha Na Jang are higher ranked than both So Yeon and Hyo Joo; I've higher level of confidence that both So Yeon and Hyo Joo will outperform Sei Young and Ha Na in the longer term. I don't know whether Inbee is ready to call it a career; in the meantime I see In Gee, So Yeon and Hyo Joo as the mainstay of LPGA Korean players.
