I went back in time to see how often someone has been top 3 in consecutive starts since In Gee has 4. It would be an interesting query for someone w/ the data. A few of Annika's later years she hadn't done it but then I hit the end of her prime. Like 1, 1, 1, 3, 1, 3, 1. I forget but it was crazy. Ai didn't do it in her 2010 campaign. Yani never did it. Lydia hasn't done it. 4 top 3s in a row is really something. There have been some even more impressive runs, 5 in a row, and others including wins. Probably most impressive was Suzann Petterson in 2013: W, W, 3, 3, W ( from Portland thru Taiwan); She had another run in 2013: 3, W, 3, 2; In 2012 InBee went W, 3, 2, 2, 2, (Evian thru British) In 2011 Cristie Kerr had 2, 2, 2, 3, 3 (Sybase thru USOpen) There are some others that are arguably more impressive because they include multiple wins, even tho one of the 4 in a row wasn't top 3: 2011 - Yani 4 of 5 with 3 Ws, 2nd, 25th 2012 - Stacy 3 of 4 with 2 Ws, 2nd, 5th - Yani 4 of 5 with 3 Ws, 3rd, 5th - Aza 3 of 4 with W, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 2013 - Stacy 3 of 4 with 2 Ws, 3rd, 9th - InBee 3 of 4 with 3Ws , 14th 2014 - Stacy 3 of 4 with 2Ws, 2nd, 6th - InBee 3 of 4 with W, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 2015 - Lydia 4 of 5 with 3 Ws, 2nd, 4th And, yes, I had too much time on my hands today! (But I do have a notebook with my favorite players' results color coded, so it was easy to pull out the results.)

Outside the hard core golf fan...Lydia is a no name.....I can and do appreciate the fake Korean cause I can appreciate great golf talent. Yeah, she needs to go for a grand sham, or whatever they call 4 majors in a row, at the US Open. It is funny watching the LPGA writers heart beats go up when Wie is in contention. It's like maybe a soccer mom will read this!

In 2013 Ariya went 2, 4, 3, 3, 4 in her only starts until her injury. She did have 4 tournaments that she didn't play during that stretch.

Seriously....can you honestly say you like the 4 pros you mentioned? If yes, I'd love to hear why you like each...this should be fun...if I was a betting man .......you will have no reply. Merica needs to wake up and start rooting for the real gals that drive the tour...not a bunch of actresses who pretend to be golfers. The best way to get Americans to cheer for the SKor's is to pair them up with the US in some team event. "Oh, there is Ha Na, she carried Wie to victory in 3 matches. I love her!" Seriously this is a good idea.

Didn't realize or forgot Aza went through a S/T hot streak......at least you know Aza is nice to cheer for...but she's tanking like Belen & Recari too.

The best way to get Americans to cheer for the SKor's ........... The only way Mericans will root for a Korean is if she is an uber hot Korean babe who can win 7+ events/year including majors for at least 5 consecutive years. But there's no Yank fandom for any Sista's because either you had: 1) an average looking Sista who could play and win often OR 2) an attractive Sista (e,g,) Grace) but didn't win enough.

Well the key is wearing a ribbon. They got to Lexi. Pretty soon Brooke will have a ribbon. The first Asian to figure that out will be a house hold name.

We had Nancy Lopez. That's a girl you could cheer. It has been 37 years since she dominated.

And now, the all-important In Gee Update! Here is an article on the LPGA site about In Gee. Not sure I agree she has ROY locked up yet, but she has certainly thrown down the gauntlet. RUNAWAY ROOKIE RACE? First-year LPGA Tour member In Gee Chun has already made her case that the Rolex Louise Suggs Rookie of the Year could be a complete runaway by the 21-year old. Chun has been impressive in her four starts in her rookie campaign and has notably bounced back from a back injury that sidelined her for two events in March. [HF: Actually, it was three events] She currently leads the Rookie of the Year race with 395 points while Megan Khang is the closest pursuer 218 points behind. Chun, the reigning U.S. Women’s Open champion, is still searching for her first win as an LPGA member but it seems only like a matter of time she will break into the winner’s circle. Chun leads the Tour in putting average (28.06), ranks second in scoring average (69.00), third in Rolex Player of the Year Points (trailing only two-time winners Lydia Ko and Ha Na Jang) and fifth on the Official Money List ($431,828). This will be Chun’s first appearance at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic and first look at Lake Merced. [HF: here's a post on her instagram page. In Gee is enjoying her visit to San Fran!] https://www.instagram.com/p/BEUwQjTxex1

But 2016 has been a train wreck for Cristi, Stacy, Michelle and Paula.... LPGA can continue to fight the reality and deny the facts but time is running out. It's not a matter of liking or not; all those 4 players are all major champions that have won at least 4 titles.

Dr. Won Park really pulled a fast one on us. If Dumbo's back is only 90%, should she not be resting and healing her back? And why is Dumbo wearing sandals to hill/mountain climb?....if there is any flying luggage....ooops...I meant debris....would she not easily lose traction, fall or twist her ankle in sandals? I don't believe I've seen anyone do the Grouse Grind in sandals.
