If they won, Bigger redemption story: ... Inky... or Lexi ? Inky. Redemption for Lexi would come from admitting she made a mistake.

This is a much better interview than the one she did with Lisa Cornwell on GC.

Followed Jin Young today, there is really anything new to say about her. Hit fairways, hit greens make or miss putts. Her only two bogeys were three putts on five and six, her fourteenth and fifteenth hole. Both putts were very speedy putts from the back of the green. The next hole she was in danger of making three bogeys in a row. She drove the ball into the left rough and had to lay up. However she hit her third shot well pass the pin, which spun back within two feet. I hope they show it on the broadcast, it was incredible.
My only thing that I have against Sung Hyun Park is slow play. The players ahead of them had left eighteen green about ten minutes, before they teed off. Then on the fairway right next to a yardage marker. She and Georgia Hall took another five minutes deciding on a club to lay up with.

Welcome back, Inky! She knows how to pick her spots. It would be "sweet" for her to win this tournament.
Nelly, Jiyai and So Yeon didn't make the cut, the cut made them. Jane Park posted a video of her birdieing 18 to be the last player to make the cut.
A lot of surprises of those who did not make the cut. Haru Nomura, In Gee Chun, Shanshan Feng? What has happened to Su Oh?
Yani Tseng has devolved so it won't be long until she has to fight to stay on the tour.

Round 2 Today there were times where the leaderboard was covered with Korean flags. Although many of the players fell back after that, there was one who kept moving forward. In Kyung Kim was extraordinary Friday: great irons, surprising length, and phenomenal putting led to a 7 under 65, her best round I think since her amazing third round at the British in '17 set her up for that title. There's still a lot of time left, and she doesn't by any means have a lock on this yet, but I'm still going to take a minute to savor what she did at the tournament that caused her so much heartache. Well done, Inky. Go get it!!!! Jin Young for a minute looked ready to join her, but the last few holes were a massive challenge. Still, she hung in there and is just four back. It's just a matter of time before she gets that first Major trophy. Perhaps that time is coming soon. Lucky Six had her moments, and even a weak three putt at the last didn't dampen her solid day. Namdalla is also hanging tough. And Amy Yang moved herself into a place where she could see her Major futility finally end. Kudos to Jenny Shin and Mi Hyang as well, even though they both struggled at the end. Inbee never got going, but shooting even par isn't terrible, either. Somehow, So Yeon made the cut, avoiding her first ever (so I believe) back-to-back missed cuts. Jiyai also creeped in. A few bad results: In Gee played even worse on day two and missed the cut; Mirim Lee should do well on this course, but shot an 81; no idea why Sei Young didn't have a better day two. Hyo Joo couldn't repeat her day one success. Good luck in round 3! Hwaiting!!! IK Kim Jin Young Ko Sung Hyun So Yeon didn't disappoint the fans, even if she has struggled with her game Lucky Six Mi Hyang Lee Hyo Joo w/ Jennifer Song Inbee Park Hee Young Park Chella Choi In Gee Chun

Yani Tseng has devolved so it won't be long until she has to fight to stay on the tour.
Yani, along with Webb, Creamer, and Matthew, are ranked between 86th and 89th on the LPGA priority list in a category for being top-20 on the LPGA career money list. However, you're only allowed to be in this category two times...I don't know if this is the first time or second time for these players. Assuming this is Yani's second time and assuming she continues to play lousy and assuming she bombs out of the next Q-series, then her ranking would probably fall into the 190s with Tour winners from the last 20 years.

Jeongeun will have her concentration tested today. With all the "go Lexi" and the crowd walking away if Thomson putts out first. I was surprised that Jessica parents walked away after she putted out, before Jin Young putted. Seeing how nice Jessica is, I expected better from them.

No one went real low and shot up the leaderboard during the calmer morning tee times. That may bode well for The Buddah maintaining her lead as the winds pick up.
Stay in the Zone, Inky.

Danielle and MHL in the penultimate pairing. They can practice their secret handshakes without getting the stinkeye from Stacy.

I was out today, but when I came in saw DK & MHL finished at T-3 , I replayed that scene in my mind at the 2016 CME ... someone put a Vimeo video link of it on GolfWrx, but it's gone now.
How she did it in her own words:

Watched So Yeon play eighteen today while waiting for Jeongeun Lee6 to tee off. The good news is she didn't hit her drive right behind a tree this time. The bad news is she hit it left into the water. She did manage to save par. She really needs to do some serious work to fix her driving.
Jeongeun Lee6 didn't have her "A" game today. Missed only a couple short birdie putts. Got up and own to save par on two or three holes. She didn't let the "go Lexi" crowd affect her at all. Especially on eighteen when they went overboard yelling Lexi. No surprise, knowing the kind of person Thompson is. She encouraged them by walking up the ramp slapping hands Absolutely no class.
Good round by Jin Young to take the lead. Should be a good playing with In Kyung tomorrow.
