Inbee Park is the only throwback to the dominant player of ole; too bad she's only a part tine player at LPGA.
Lydia Ko is the last dominant No. 1; she had a Rolex score of more than 15.0. The No. 1 players nowadays have single digit scores, men or women.
Marina Alex played insanely to win Portland and then shot a +9 round here; the same goes with other winners.
I don't think this is good for the sport; we need our Nancy Lopez, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

So Yeon Ryu had 35 putts, ouch!
I thought In Gee was bad with 29.

In Gee is an outdated model running on a super highway; it's as if she's been sitting idle and passed by cars left and right.
She needs to shoot at the pins because she needs to make more birdies and she doesn't make putts longer than 10.0 feet.
She can deal with missed GIR; her short games are good enough, she can scramble.

Round 3 Some great stuff today from some big stars. Sei Young was on fire! She is so overdue a Major win, and she has put herself into a great position to grab one at last. This year has been weird with the way that players who have never won have gotten third round leads in Majors and ended up winning. Given that, it seems likely that Olson will go low and make this boring. But if reality rears its head with her and she acts the way a first-timer usually does in this situation, SYK has to make sure she is ready to capitalize. Inbee played great, too. She seems to be doing well tee to green, and her putting was strong without yet being her top notch stuff. If she can find her flat stick magic in the final round, it would be incredible. Go Inbee! Lucky Six is sometimes also called Hot 6 in the Korean media. Whatever you call her, that par save on 18 was awesome. She has a lot of work to do to win this, but she's long, strong, playing her best golf of the year, and is motivated. Rooting for her big time! In Gee never really got it going, while So Yeon just didn't have it when she needed it. Mi Hyang and Jenny had a few big burps, too, and Amy went the wrong direction. https://www.instagram.com/p/BnwdoSzn-Kv Jin Young isn't going to catch Hall, but she should still go as low as she can and try to offset the point loss she may suffer. Who knows, maybe Hall is finally ready to have an actually poor round, although I'm dreading the possibility she'll sneak in for this win. Go Sisters! Hwaiting!

So Yeon Ryu had 35 putts, ouch! I thought In Gee was bad with 29. So Yeon 35 putts and Jin Young 32 putts. Not a good day for them. Good news, So Yeon has the second best score of the top five players Rolex Ranking.

I'm a little more optimistic about JinYoung's ROY chances. . .true enough if Hall wins, she'll get 300 points(now trailing by 308). But this is the last major so no more 300 points to dole out. . . even if she wins, JinYoung will still have a very slight lead. . .but, heading into home turf on the Fall Asia tour. . .so JinYoung still has control of her own future. . .she just needs to anchor down. . .

I'll have to check out the Mi Hyang Lee Car Wash next time I'm in SC. I don't think the announcers were joking when they said she works there as a cashier.
Mi Hyang continues to amaze me...they said she owned a car wash in SC. They didn't say the name of this establishment...MHL needs to consult Crusty Grrr on how to get the GC broadcasters to shill for your business 24/7.
Well, her Saturday round was a forgettable affair. I went out after she played 13 holes and was disappointed to see her lousy finish when I came home. The good news is that she won't need to spray on any horndog repellent for Sunday. I'm still pleased overall with T-13 so far. I especially liked how she played one of the short par-4s (maybe #11) where she took a full cut with a short iron from the fairway, stopped her finish with the shaft vertical in front of her, twirled it once, and watched the ball drop stone dead about two feet from the cup. This is the shot she needs to set up for at the Seaview, not the 30-50 yard pitch shots that handcuff her.

The Evian Annika Majors Award Gala, which happens the night before they figure out who is actually going to win the thing. Go figure! So Yeon Ryu Inbee Park Terminator flat out blew off this ceremony!

Sung Hung's tracksuit and high-tops Keds were at the cleaners.
********
MHL made pars on the first six holes and just birdied #7, now T-10...I'm cool with that.
