It's ordained that Cristie Kerr wins this tournament. Afternoon scoring were tough because winds gusted up to 13 mph right after Cristie finished her round.

Su Oh has not been playing very good this year. It's hard to pick one thing that's causing her bad scoring today. 8 of 14 fairways hit 231 yards driving distance.... driving the ball that short she should hit more fairways. 11 of 18 greens in regulation. So that makes 32 putts, look bad with that many greens missed.
I only followed her once for five holes, and her game was pretty solid.
Another ho-hum day for Jin Young and So Yeon. Hoping that they have a better weekend.

Income Kim is our only real hope at this point.

IK Kim leads the afternoon wave at -8 (-3 for the round) after 9 holes. She had 6 one putt in nine holes.
Both In Gee and Sung Hyun should spend time with IK on the green and learn how to putt.

Wind gusted up to fifteen miles an hour after Kerr finished her round. It's official...she's a witch.

Both winds and scores came down later in the afternoon; the cut line of even par is in danger.
Both Minjee Lee and Lexi finished even par; they may have extra time to prepare for the first Major of the year.

Nasa had an adventurous day; four bogeys and four birdies. She didn't putt as well as usual.
She's at even par; she may escape with a made cut but will need to wait and see.

Megan Khang is at -2, safely inside the cut line. By the way, mr3putt has allowed me to take his place in the NASA vs. Megan 2018 bet.

Just to confirm... the bet is based on the 2018 LPGA Official Money list. NASA earns more than Megan Khang: mnmlistgolfr not allowed to post Jan-Feb 2019. Megan earns more than NASA: 18majors not allowed to post Jan-Feb 2019.

I have been trying to maintain our lead over sister "Kia" thread at WRX forum on thread view count; but it's been a losing battle. There're just many more readers in that forum.
It's a psychological victory though; if we reach 50% of their views.

Four players with even or worse need to get to -1 to change the cut line from even to -1.
That's unlikely to happen; as a result, Nasa, Lexi and Minjee are good for the weekend.

This is one saying in golf that is so wrong. "At least she gave it a chance". Paula Creamer needed to birdie eighteen to finish even par to make the cut. She chipped her ball about twenty to twenty five feet pass the hole. Judy said "she gave it a chance". That ball had zero chance of hitting the hole and staying in.
The same when a amateur has a twenty foot birdie putt, and putt's it ten feet pass the hole. Then says.....I didn't leave a birdie putt short. No you didn't and will probably make bogey.
