I was concerned that the '86 Masters documentary on GC last night was going to be schmaltzy and talky...sometimes it was, but I learned a couple things I didn't know before. First, Jack N. wore yellow on Sundays a lot as a way of supporting a cancer-stricken boy, who wrote him much earlier in his career. Second, Jack had extra insight on playing the 18th green because his company had remodeled it. I'm reviewing part of that '86 TV broadcast...Steve Melnyk speculated that Jack was hitting a 6-iron at par-3 12th of 162 yards (I thought 155 was the full length). Melnyk said nothing about the wind conditions, but if I made a perfect swing with a 6-iron, I could at least clear the water. Melnyk assumed that Sandy Lyle (who was/is crazy long) needed a 7-iron. What does that say about the ball today? ******* Watched the later portions of the par-3 contest webcam...eight aces is just sick. I didn't see Lydia play, but she was there. w/ Leadbetter & Stenson w/ Kevin Na

It figures that one fake Korean would caddy for another. Only at Augusta.

It figures that one fake Korean would caddy for another. Only at Augusta. People just don't get it here...maybe that's why there are many "fake" golf fans on this site. You have created the single most powerful word on any golf forum and I have not seen ONE member compliment you on your genius. Aside from Happyfan's great dedication to keep this site alive and well.....you can really see his hard work if one goes into the bio and other stuff outside of the discussion threads.....members here should also acknowledge your contributions/comments too. Let's face it.....because of all the Yank racism.....I'm sure 98% of the patrons thought it was Na's sister on his bag vs. seeing the #2 woman's GOAT hitting a tee shot....I bet Lydia could beat Na on the par 3 course. I wonder if The Dragon Lady insisted on VIP treatment from Rice or Darla?

Lydia always tries to be gangsta with her cap backwards. It would not surprise me if The Dragon Lady was in secret negotiations with Cobra/Puma to get a contract....Lydia can act 'BADA*S" in some Puma apparel....Lexi has don't nothing for their brand. Lydia is there accepting an award....I'm sure there are other LPGA pros hiding among the patrons too. I'm surprised that Ko is not sitting out of the Lotte....she's close to home in Orlando to chill out for next week. I'm sure Tina worked out a side deal in cash (avoid IRS) for an appearance fee from Lotte....I don't think the Koreans understand the word....FAKE. Dave H and Tina are gonna burn out the Cdn & Kiwi Princesses.

What does that say about the ball today? *******************************************************************
Yes...many fake golfers are unaware that it's the ball and not the club head/shaft where many improvements in distance have occurred.
But club head and shaft have helped significantly in the forgiveness aspect.

Watching all the shows of The Masters on GC this week really enforces how the LPGA majors are so FAKE.....and not different from the standard LPGA event. It obvious when we watch a men's major we know we are watching a major...not so on the LPGA.....minimal attendance at just about all events.....look at the non-existent gallery at the Sybase Match play event....even when they had a free ticket promo.

Thanks but I am just a smart aleck. You guys are the ones that really know about ladies golf. Yes I owe Happy Fan a great deal. This website and his previous postings on lpga.com have brought me years of enjoyment. I am probably one of the reasons lpga.com shut down the forum.

I didn't know smart aleck was another word(s) for dbag.
I use to be a member of the lpga.com forum....I believe it was short lived...maybe 2000-2001...then I went to be a member of the GC golf forum before it shut down....it was a gong show there...but it was really entertaining

I know the old LPGA.com forum went back to at least 2003 because Grace Park posted a note after winning at Kingsmill. It was shut down in 2005 because that's when HF started the old version of this forum.

"Huh" to you! I said HF started the old version of THIS forum in 2005..."old" refers to the board that crashed for good in 2014. He had nothing to do with lpga.com.
**************
Masters.com has a two-hour rebroadcast of the par-3 contest. Apparently another ace was scored, which makes nine. I guess all these greens are funnels. I think they completely missed Lydia...I'm poking around different spots on the video and she's not here.

Talk about par 3 courses....if anyone heads to the RTJ Golf Trail in Alabama...many of the courses have a 9 hole par 3 course...when I played in 1997....it was included in the green fees.
If you play from the back or tips...think of some of the toughest par 3's you've ever played grouped into 9 holes.

I knew he didn't run lpga but I thought he used to post there. My memory is shot. It runs in the family.

Classic Augusta and golf channel that Lydia was in P3 contest and didn't make the broadcast (if that's true.)
