It is sad how few spectators are there. They all went to the Palm Springs Hilton this weekend.   ********** BTW, the overhead TV views of the golf course show a few rectangular desert lots surrounding it. I've never been there, but I'm surprised that Rancho Mirage has any undeveloped properties within the city limits. Maybe it's done for environmental purposes. |

Golf is impossible to comprehend; Cristie Kerr was +4 for 54 holes but shot -4 in 6 holes today.

Eventually some of the land held by individuals will be developed. There is conservation land but I think most of it is north of the freeway. The land directly north of Mission Hills is Indian land either held in a trust or controlled by the Agua Caliente Band. They have the nearby casino. Mission Hills is in the wind belt and the further north the less desirable.
I asked a couple of bartenders at the casino if many of the Korean players had been in to drink and gamble. They said zero. One bartender works at the Agua Caliente pool bar and he said it was a zoo on Saturday as Phil's pictures attest. There were some Korean couples all dressed up (unlike whitey) there Saturday night. Some of the women were really something. Even a couple of LA 10s.

Actually So Yeon got to minus six through eight holes.
However she was plus two the rest of the way.
No birdies, two bogies.
Every time I get excited and think she is going make a run, she backtracks.
She really needs to play golf and enjoy herself like the old days.
She is so mechanical now.
Her demeanor has really changed also.

Experienced players feel the need to change and improve, because younger players like Lexi and Lydia force the issues upon them. When Tiger started to win in 1997, many of the experienced players like Norman, Faldo, Mickelson and Els went through tough patches too. |

FYI...this is my new avatar.....mnmlistgolfr created it....he's is one hilarious WRX member I lured over here along with argonne69 & 4waymiss...the guy's a genius with Photoshop. There is a lot of knee high talk on WRX....this is so funny.  I'd make you the Editor-in-Chief of Knee High Aficionado! I was well trained...we use to play with a really attractive and skilled golfer Korean lady who always wore knee highs....I had never seen her golf in shorts nor pants...always skorts...white women can learn from the Koreans.  |

Lee Ann Pace had more supporters than IGC. The Flying Dumbos stayed in Korean. IGC is the most charismatic golfer I've seen on the LPGA. It will take some time. When you applaud or say something, she looks directly at you like Palmer did. It is sad how few spectators are there. I know Smiling Buddha doesn't like the course. I think it's a wonderful place but 18 should be turned over and planted with date trees. What lesbian fans watching LAP? I've always said...move this event to LA....then you'd see more fans, especially the Korean fanboys....weren't there a lot of Koreans at Industry Hills? KIA has no balls....they should have forced Whan's hand.....put their money into this event and get Whan to find a home in LA when KN bailed. Yes, Dumbo rules! I guess you didn't seek out to meet up with SeYeonFan or SayYouSeRi cause both would have sucker punched you for being a goof. |

I'm likely spoiled living in Van City and BC...yes the aerial views look great and yes I was only in PS for 2 days for a wedding in 2009....but I never thought PS was all that picturesque. I'm sure the area out by La Quinta is nice. The wind mills in the outskirts are really ugly. |

On Friday....I started and ended my round with doubles....duh...but fortunately I was only 3 over in between....I putted like Lexi on her off weeks...0 for 7 on good birdie chances....I'm a mental midget. |

So was the Korean couple .....two gals? The lady couples are 97% white 2% black 1% other. Since I've gone, I've never seen the women cheer for a Korean. Its a shame they will be disappointed today. |
