Round 3 It was a bit frustrating for me that most of the day, most of my favorites were on the second page of the leaderboard and thus had no chance of getting coverage. Fortunately, we had some great stuff from a few of the Sisters who did make the broadcast! In Gee was something else today. Getting off to a three straight birdie start, giving it all back, then rallying towards the end. That third shot pitch she hit on 18 was uber sweet, as was the approach on 15. Third straight 69 in a Major, not bad! She has a great chance to take this tomorrow. I'm hoping she gets her revenge on Thompson for Thailand. Thompson doesn't have a four shot lead this time, and if she putts tomorrow like she did today, she is totally beatable. I'm sending all my positive vibes In Gee's way and hope that the Major Queen can capture another big event. But if she doesn't, at least let her play well and stay in the hunt. GO IN GEE!!!!!! Am I the only one who hates the way 18 is set up? Make it shorter, OK, whatever. But now you have a huge honking grandstand behind the green that conveniently prevents any balls from going long into the water. The hell? What on Earth prevents every halfway long player from going for the green in two? Just a stupid decision. For about 45 minutes it looked like Bo Mee was going to be the Korean story of round 3. Not sure what happened (coverage stopped showing her after a while), but it was fun while it lasted. Aside from In Gee, Sung Hyun Park is still a sleeper in the field. She's every bit as long as the big hitters up top, but more complete. Will nerves do her in? Maybe, but don't count her out! I'd say Hyo Joo at 6 under might be able to grab this, too. Hard to believe anyone farther back could do it, although Inbee might be due a really great round (she's six back). Nice seeing So Yeon Ryu also within shouting distance of a needed top ten. GO SISTERS!!!!! In Gee Chun - what a swing! Hee Young Park Se Ri was there! Mi Hyang Lee Q Baek Bo Mee Lee So Yeon Ryu

I'm sending all my positive vibes In Gee's way ........... ************************************************************* Nice jinx....what the heck are you doing...lol. The better scenario for Lexi to choke would have been for her to play with Lydia in the final group....Lexi knows that Ko can put some pressure on her...unlike Wie who was unwilling to press Lexi in 2014 and MW played conservatively even when she was strokes behind. Ariya is kinda strange...so Lexi will be best served not to speak with her during the rd and just be full on focused on her own game....but Lexi is all game once inside the ropes.....the advantage now will be for Lexi to watch what Ko is doing in front of her.....if Tina is smart...she'll tell Lydia to play slow....but avoid any penalty and throw off Dumbo and keep Lexi waiting on all her shoots that can get annoying. The Dragon Lady is one smart person....2nd only to the GREAT BJ Wie.

What on Earth prevents every halfway long player from going for the green in two? Just a stupid decision. ************************************************************************************ What? you're criticizing your friend, SayYouSeRi, that this course is not worthy of major status???....lol. I've said the above many times before that the grandstand behind the 18th is a joke.....an similar analogy would be laying a club down near the hole on a slick downhill putt so it doesn't go sailing 6 ft by. Could you imagine a grandstand behind the 15th green at Augusta?.....NO......if a pro is not confident their 2nd shot won't hold the green...they are laying up and end up with a downhill shot on a tight lie as their 3rd shot. And to make the set up worse and comical....there is a drop zone as an option for pros hitting their ball into the grandstand......that drop zone made a chip far easier shot than a chip from back of the green to a front pin. This major needs to cease...shut it down...no one wants to attend it except for a few fanboys from LA....it was crickets today. Move this event to a worthy course in Japan or allow ANA to early terminate their sponsorship without repudiation and have a large Korean multinational sponsor the 1st major in Seoul....end of story....oh ya...make BJ Wie the new LPGA commish and move LPGA HQ to Seoul too.

This doesn't look like The Rocket....1st time I've seen HYP in all black...but The Smiling Buddha approves.

Considering no one wants to attend the fake major....I guess The Lovely Grace Park sent Se Ri as her proxy for The Masters copy cat champion's dinner. I wonder if Se Ri will jump in the pond with Dumbo so she can feel what could have been.

Lexi, Lydia, Michelle Suzann and In Gee, all major winners; what a tournament!
Will Caroline Masson steal the tournament? Will Ariya, Charley, Sung Hyun, Lee-Anne and Ai become a major winner?
So many questions, so much anticipation!

In Gee mentioned in Korean interviews that she's thankful for the support from her fans in this tournament. Hope we'll see it in clear display on TV today.

We really did not see a lot of good putts dropped today. That's true. I think the speed was a bit slower than they expected. A number of putts came up short, even downhill. Many died and dropped below the hole. Lexi mentioned the speed during her post round interview.

In Gee (21), Lexi (21), Jutanugarn (20), Hull (20) and Lydia (18); 5 of the top 6, youths are well represented.
The other youngster Brooke isn't bad either; -2 and T33.

Ha Na's 75 yesterday got to be one of the least expected rounds; wouldn't be surprised if she shoots 65 and creates an early stir today.

Gerina Piller shot 65 in the final round last year; she can get back into the thick of things (-13) if she repeats her feat today.

Lee Ann Pace had more supporters than IGC. The Flying Dumbos stayed in Korean. IGC is the most charismatic golfer I've seen on the LPGA. It will take some time.
When you applaud or say something, she looks directly at you like Palmer did.
It is sad how few spectators are there. I know Smiling Buddha doesn't like the course. I think it's a wonderful place but 18 should be turned over and planted with date trees.
