We'll won't know whether In Gee is in the field until she hits her first ball on Thursday, March 24.

It appears that Amy Yang and So Yeon Ryu are the only top names skipping this tournament. Sung Hyun Park is once again a sponsor invitee. So Yeon skipping it. I was on the fence of should I go or should I not go.. Easy choice now to not go. I will see In Gee at ANA. Maybe Sung Hyun Park.

Yup, she's going to miss this one as well. According to the article I read, her progress has slowed, and she and her team have decided to focus on the ANA as her return. I hope she takes it slow, even if she misses the Olympics and the ANA. I'd rather she come back in a couple months fully ready and healed than rush it and make things worse.

Nothing can be taken for granted; it's only less than 3 weeks ago, we looked with anticipation for HSBC in Singapore. No question, it's a tough way to start any Rookie seasons. But my hunch is In Gee and her team will make the right decisions.

By the way, the article I read had 177 comments already. Most seem to be pro-In Gee, but there are definitely a few anti-Ha Na comments in there. Sample: "Ha Na Jang shall never win again!" "Who cares about Jang's tears?" "Jang should give monetary compensation for what her father did" "Jang should be prevented from playing until In Gee returns" etc.

We'll never know whether Ha Na's father hurt In Gee intentionally; but he should take responsibilities even if it's due to his negligence.
Many times, good deeds are unnoticed; bad deeds unpunished.

Any input as to which players you wish for me to follow the first two rounds? The "Park's".....The Rocket and Sung Hyun Park. OK.....follow a white gal too....Belen Mozo.....if she doesn't shape up....this might be her last year on tour.

Tony If Dumbo was playing what would have been your strength ranking %. So why is this event typically ranked higher in strength vs. the CWO....is it because the CWO hands out a lot of low ranking Canadian player invites to weaken the field? Thx

It really is shocking how many gals continue to shoot in the high 70's & 80's and shown up to these qualifiers expecting to be successful for limited spots.

Thx, Tony It really is surprising how so many of the top LPGA pros play the week before a major rather than resting up.....opposite of the PGA model. I believe the LPGA pros can't play until the Sunday before an event.....but I think the Kia has poa anna greens and rye fairways and Mission Hills has bermuda greens and fairways.....if I was a premier LPGA (it's all about the majors) .......I'd be in PS resting and practicing at another facility to rest and prep. Now that The Dragon Lady is collecting a pay cheque.....she has Lydia on an opposite sked vs. when she was an Am. As an Am....someone else flipped the bill for she and Lydia to stay at the swankiest hotels the week before an event...now that Lydia is a pro and has to pay her own expenses....Tina needs young Lydia to be a ATM...or she's just following the instructions from the BJ Wie handbook. FWIW.....I think SYR has been trying to throw off her fans....I think "The Italian" is Ian Baker Finch.
