Tony With low oil prices and the Alberta economy in a tail spin (no help with a new left wing premier when The Albertan's ousted the corrupt Conservatives) I wonder what the atmosphere will be like for the CP CWO in Calgary. I hope our Cdn peso recovers soon (Seattle trip in June)...if not...your greenback will go a long way...heck ....you can even help subsidize Glen's travel expenses with your exchange rate windfall.

You could always skip Seattle and go to Calgary where you wont be hurt by the exchange. Seattle is a 3 hr drive...Calgary 10+ hrs. I'll likely maybe only go to Seattle for 1 or 2 days......I've never attended a LPGA fake major and Sahalee blows away Priddis. Besides...the money I save going to Seattle vs. Calgary = more green fees.....playing golf > LPGA fanboying. And this will be my 1st chance to meet Happyfan and get under his skin and stir the pot...besides....Vern and Happy can't monopolize the Dumbo fanboying assuming there are no escalators at SeaTac airport so In Gee can play at Sahalee.

I suppose the LPGA players could skip the tournament, before a major. If they got one million plus dollars for wining one tournament like the PGA. Instead some of their complete tournament prize money is only one million plus. Major wins are nice, but making a living is their top priority.

When I look at the LPGA pros in the top 20 RR rankings....I don't think any will be hurting financially at the end of their careers.....for these pros....majors should be a priority....especially to increase their endorsement opportunities. I can see the kids who are 18-22 not necessarily getting fatigued by playing before a major...and yes the following are not old....but I would think Stacy, Amy, Shanshan, Tutta, Kerr, Anna N, Bam Bam, NYC and especially Winbee with a tight back would sit out of the Kia and rest and prep for a major. Or maybe everyone of them sees the ANA as a truly fake major and don't differentiate it from a regular tour event. It is #1 GOAT.....Nicklaus ......who always prepped well heading into a major. Yes.....many of the other lower ranked LPGA pros play because each pay check is important to them.

OK...there are higher ranked pros on the priority list ahead of Dame Davies...yet she was in the field last week and this week...and others ahead of her on the outside looking in? ??

I don't see Sung Hyun Park in the pairings. Tony Good catch. I just got off the phone from all the local hospital emer rooms....no Korean has checked in with any back injuries from flying suitcases.

I don't see Sung Hyun Park in the pairings. The other sponsor invite, Je Yoon Yang, is not in the pairings either. Group #24 (the last off #10 in the morning) and #25 (the first off #1 in the afternoon) each have just two players.

I was surprised that Je Yoon Yang got an invite to this one. Recent pix of her do not include any Kia or Hyundai logos, and her game has dropped off considerably in the last couple of years. There's a big online article on her at JTBC Golf, which was posted before her name was dropped from the Kia field. It says she did some off-season training in Hawaii, reunited with her former coach (Alan Wilson of Canada), and plans on attending the first round of LPGA Q-School in August at Mission Hills.

Hmmmm...in our overly too PC world...I'm wondering if Kia cowered under the whining of the red-headed lesbian and pulled their invites for the two Koreans....it's just too coincidental that two of their invites are no longer in the field. golfweek.com/news/2016/mar/22/ladies-european-tour-beth-allen-money-no-sponsor/Allen didn’t receive that sponsor exemption to the 2015 Kia, nor did she get one this year despite a letter written on her behalf from former LPGA player Sophie Gustafson, who now works as Allen’s caddie. Kia’s first exemption in 2016 was given to Sung Hyun Park of the KLPGA, and the second, selected by J Golf, is Je-Yoon Yang. “Fair enough,” Allen said. “They’re Korean companies.” DUH....their MONEY...their CHOICE......that's how it works Beth....play better and maybe you'll get more sponsors....and BTW....there's another very attractive US gay pro on the LPGA tour that doesn't seem too hard pressed to obtain sponsorships.

Tony Good catch. I just got off the phone from all the local hospital emer rooms....no Korean has checked in with any back injuries from flying suitcases. If Americans don't start winning, I am going to start throwing suitcases next. LMAO....gee and we wonder why the LPGA is losing interest/traction in Merica....lol. I still laugh when I saw you, Cindy, Golfing Grammy & spouse all sulking at the end of the playoff at the 2015 CP CWO. I said .....don't tell me....everyone was rooting for the sore loser, pouty face and blame everything on something other than poor shot execution, Stacy Lewis vs. cheering for a humble and likable Lydia Ko...when I asked why?...the answer was..... cause she's Merican.....SERIOUSLY? ......another LMAO. The Korean Reign of Terror is just getting out of the block for 2016. OLE OLE!!!

Hmmmm....seems like someone in Daytona Beach HQ reads this site. When TonyJ/Kevin commented that the 2 Koreans were missing....... it was real....they were not listed on www.lpga.com at the time.....I just went to the site and it has now been corrected. It must be the same non paid HS intern who designed the blue on blue www.lpga.com site who also does a lot of website updating. Maybe the kid is a young Merican racist in the making.....who hoped the 2 Korean invites might not play because they didn't see their names on the pairings list.

The best part about the Korean's kicking butt on the LPGA is that there are golf fans upset about it. Haha. I noticed the featured pairings finally dropped Wie, Pettersen, MPress and Sulky Lewis this week. Maybe I can watch without having to drink for once. Mo Martin got above the AwarWhaness Line. Love watching her drive it down a garden hose on every hole.
