Some more notables from off the beaten track kicked in their $175 fee: Kyung Kim (2012 WAPL winner) Misuzu Narita Becky Brewerton Su Hyun Oh Jennifer Ha (Calgary, AB) Taylor Kim (Surrey, BC) Regina Plasencia Nicole Zhang (Calgary, AB) Karen Zhang (Richmond, BC) Jimin Kang Lala Anai Jean Reynolds Surprised to see Jimin Kang name on the list. She had a chance to get a top ten on the Symetra tour money list two years ago. However she did not play the last two tournaments. I believe she was top thirteen or less.

I've seen Nicole Zhang play a couple of holes at a Cdn tour event in 2012 and last year at the CP CWO Monday qualifier....her mom was pushing her cart both times....a future Dragon Lady in the making???

My niece is playing in events in Southern California (9 to 11 years old.) Nice swing but not too good (even though she is half Asian.) She finishes near the bottom every tournament. A Korean 9 year old dominated yesterday and won by several strokes. According to my niece she is a very nice girl. There are whispers among the girls that she learned how to mark her ball from Jane Blalock.

It is disappointing. She is unwilling to practice 12 hours per day. I have never given her advice-- she would really be awful if I gave her pointers.
When I played in events in my hometown as a kid it was all whites and plenty of them cheated.
Plenty of pros cheat. They just don't get caught.

Se Ri Pak receives special exemption into 2016 U.S. Women’s Open 5 mins ago Se Ri Pak received a special exemption into the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open on Wednesday. Pak, who won the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open at Blackwolf Run at 20 years old, is now in the field for the July 7-10 at CordeValle in San Martin, Calif. “Without a doubt, Se Ri Pak’s 1998 U.S. Women’s Open victory revolutionized women’s golf and inspired scores of players from the Republic of Korea and around the world,” said Stuart Francis, chairman of the USGA Championship Committee. “The USGA is proud to honor Se Ri in her final season and applaud her historic career. We look forward to celebrating with her when she and the world’s best players take on CordeValle in July.” Pak, 38, intends to retire at the end of the 2016 LPGA season. She was extended the exemption “in honor of her lifelong dedication to the game and the indelible mark left by her success.” “The U.S. Women’s Open has a very special meaning in my career and life,” Pak said. “It has opened up the doors for all my dreams to come true. With that, I am very honored and pleased to be given this opportunity to participate for the last time before finishing up my playing career. I have learned so much. I will do all my best to give back the love and support I have received for the future of golf.” golfweek.com/quick_shot/us-womens-open-lpga-se-ri-pak/

Yes, a well-deserved exemption...shame on ANA for not doing the same. She is not mailing in this season. The Volvik tour rep took this picture(below) of her working with her coach at the Texas Shootout. Who is he? pbs.twimg.com/media/ChFnDX1UYAANXtD.jpgBTW, I figured out how to use the "Insert Embed" button for Instagram, but Twitter has me stumped.

BTW, I figured out how to use the "Insert Embed" button for Instagram, but Twitter has me stumped. I am still struggling with "Insert Embed " for Instagram. Is there an easy way to copy the "URL", to post on the Forum. Let's say I want to post a pic from JM Green's Instagram... 1. Go to her account: www.instagram.com/jayemgreen/2. Click on a picture. 3. Copy the URL related to that picture. 4. Click the </> button above. 5. Click the Instagram icon (bottom row, middle) 6. Paste the URL into the box 7. Delete the part on the end that says /?taken-by=jayemgreen
8. Click the Embed button https://www.instagram.com/p/BEoaYqKwExG
