Well So Yeon is not driving the ball longer, nor is she putting any better. A perfect moment for me will be when In Gee and So Yeon play the final group of the final round and tie for the lead after the 17th hole.

My post/link was for you to be able to read about the ENTITLED Canadian Princess and all the Merican fawning over her....lol. I said it several times, I will say it again. Unless there is an injury, Ko, Lexi and In Gee will be the top 3 players in the world for a long time. Maybe Brooke could join them, but I want to see more from her first. Tony, When did you first proclaim that ? I want proof !! Regardless, it is still a very ballsy call , considering.. 1, The hot and cold putting of Lexi, and her occasional shaky short game. 2, You are basically putting the Queen Bee to early retirement. 3, Dumbo so far basically has been following the exact same trajectory as So Yeon Ryu 5 years ago. Look where SYR is now, no chopped liver, but certainly far from top 3. 4, Hyo Joo and Sei Young are ballers, and will continue to improve. 5, More ballers will come from the KLPGA. I like bold statements, putting yourself out there.

Well So Yeon is not driving the ball longer, nor is she putting any better. One round under par of ten rounds played. Never happened before. The new swing is not looking good so far. Still thinks she will turn it around. Lydia not looking too good either. The search for power often ends in failure--just ask SYR's mentor Ian Baker-Finch. I am worried that IGC (assuming she can someday return to the tour) will try for more distance as well.

Either that are testing different drivers and shafts, before taking drastic measures. Also having a great short game helps.

Saw it on twitter. superspeedgolf.com/testimonials/ Hmmmmm....more smoke and mirrors....again hopefully her handlers who are running Dumbo into the ground....got her a $200,000/yr endorsement in which they are taking a $80.000 cut. Are the Koreans that easily lead to the well to drink the Kool-Aid? They should read WRX more....this is where I learn from a handicapper that the great female golfers of recent decades have all been around 5'6".....it might even be able to prove that this stat is statistically significant. Mannika, Lorena, Se Ri, Karrie, Inbee, Stacy, Lydia....and maybe the newbies will also prove this theory correct....The Hulk, HJK, Bada*s, Minjee, SYR, Brooke, etc....are all around 5'6". Dumbo doesn't bode well....5'9". Yes length helps....but golf is much more than that....mental toughness, closing the deal, accuracy, touch, scrambling, putting etc. If golf was all about length....Lexi, Wiesy, Bam Bam. Yani, Korda, Joanne Klatten, Ciganda, LeBlanc, etc would be destroying their competition week in week out....and it hasn't happened.

Yani is so toasted that the Golf Channel stopped mentioning that she bought Annika's old house. ********* Mi Hyang teed off with Lydia and Crusty at #10. MHL and Ko are -1 after six holes, Even overall. CK is -2 after six holes, -1 overall. ********* PC won some kind of food tasting contest over S.S. Feng. ************* Some poses from earlier in the week: A dose of Lead Poisoning

I can't think of a dominant golfer that fell like Yani. Live is a son of a gun.

Anyway, I would disagree about In Gee's trajectory vs. So Yeon's. The year she won the US Women's Open, Ryu only managed one win on the KLPGA and none anywhere else. Compare that to In Gee's 8 total wins last year. Of course, her results this year are still TBD. Ryu had 16 top tens and a win in her rookie year, which is pretty top notch (though if she had managed a few more wins it would have been even better).

Round 3 Another entertaining day of golf, with both Mirim and the Hanagizer playing well against each other. Ha Na shot a 68 today, but it felt like she left a few out there. Still, she has the lead and will be in the final group tomorrow. A win here would put her in great shape in the continuing Olympics battle, at least until the next event! Mirim seemed a bit more shaky, but she's pretty handy at saving pars, and that kept her in it when her birdies stopped. Nice to see her having fun! Meanwhile, Amy made a great run to pip Mirim into the final group tomorrow. She's the highest ranked of the gals in that group, but can she close the deal? Na Yeon and Chella are four back with an outside shot of taking this. Bad day for Inbee and So Yeon again. I feel like Inbee is not too far off getting back to her B level at least, but I'm beginning to wonder how long it will take Ryu to get her ducks in line. Go Sisters!!! Hwaiting!
