The million dollar bonus? Yes. Everyone ranked inside the top 5 in the rankings controls their own destiny. Sei Young can clinch with a victory. She can also win it with a top 10 depending on how Lydia and Inbee perform.

She can also win it with a top 10 depending on how Lydia and Inbee perform. No, only the top 3 will win the bonus with a tournament win. Players ranked 4 through 9 can win the bonus with a little help. SYK starts with 3600 points, or 1400 points behind Lydia. If SYK wins (3500 points), she'll need Lydia to finish 8th or worse to win the bonus. Here's the points reset and breakdown: CME Points

Inbee played all right in the first round, but Lydia didn't seem to be on her game and still shot a 69. That's not a good sign for Park. If she wants to contend, I think she needs to step it up in round 2 and get herself into one of the final few groups on Saturday. She really needs to figure out how to make those decent birdie chances fall, because the putts that were dropping last week for her were not dropping here. And Inbee is not the type who wins by shooting huge final rounds to make comebacks.
Nice first round by Sei Young, and I wouldn't count Ha Na Jang out of it just yet, either. Have no idea what happened to So Yeon, although that horrible bunker lie they showed didn't help her cause.
Go Sisters!!

Wow - Lydia is HOT. May as well hand over the awards and the money. HaNa Jang looks like she'll end the year the way she started, with a great finish. Ai Miyazato, Hee Young Park, and Karine Icher have appeared for about the first time this season, and Morgan Pressel appears to have lost her game

You wanna a piece of me....come and get it!! I hope Ha Na completely dismantles Crusty in their pairing on Saturday. Hopefully all of Kerr's barking doesn't bother Lydia....Ha Na and Ko will be smart just to put Ms. Congeniality on ignore mode. Hmmmmm...more racism against the Koreans...ya shoot 65 and take a 2 shot lead into Saturday and there's no interview from GC....that's BS and a joke...Ha Na's English is OK...yet Ko had two GC interviews....one from Stupples and then one from Lisa Cornwell on Golf Central.

It's only a matter of time until Stacy does a club tomahawk....that was some Pouty Face on her finishing hole when she missed the putt. I hope the Canadian Princess shows Lewis how it's done in tomorrow's pairing.

Lydia putted poorly...32 putts and 17/18 GIR.
Nothing new....Gerina can't putt.
Huh....HJK stole Dean Herdin to loop for her this week.....Dumbo is too nice not to seek out Dean....Dean should be on In Gee's bag once Seo announced her retirement.
I'm so happy to see Ai-Chan playing well and on TV....Ai is such a sweetheart!!

Everyone here can only look in the mirror and blame yourself for Kerr's win...no bad or reverse karma was created. It could have been a happy day if Ha Na or Gerina won...IMO...The Hulk will win her 1st LPGA event before Gerina.
That boys and girls is all nerves.....I can't believe Ko gagged it from 20 ft and didn't get up and down on the 18th hole....I think her par putt should have been for all the marbles...the million dollars and POY.
It just seems like yesterday when Kerr adopted her son...Mason's quite a big boy now.
I really like the deep face bunkers...I think they were redone and not original in design....IMO....a bunker should be more penal like these.
No one stayed around for the closing ceremonies. Inbee really should be the POY considering she has 2 majors vs. Ko's one major.

I had to go to the office today so I missed the final round on TV. Kerr pulls a big surprise. I thought she was starting to show her age but found the Fountain of Youth in Florida.
How close Lexi came to getting the million bucks.
At least Inbee qualifies for the Hall.

Inbee really should be the POY considering she has 2 majors vs. Ko's one major. This. I know the LPGA is trying to push the fact that they have a "sure-fire" way of proofing a Player Of The Year based on points and whatnot, but this is why that particular system. In my opinion, for the second year in a row, Inbee got screwed out of the trophy. Two majors trumps one. Period. Just like, last season, one major trumped none. This is not a hard concept. I don't know if the LPGA just isn't weighing the majors heavy enough, but if this were the PGA Tour, Inbee would have won the POY three years in a row. Of course, when I do my "Year End Awards", this will come up.

Golf wise, Se Ri, Grace and Super Peanut are irrelevant. Meanwhile, Cristie is still winning. Give the devil her due.
