Sooooo much on the line. It should be a great tournament. 'Almost feels like a major. However no Majors in the US are tape delayed. Nor less than three hours air time. I guess the Golf Channel's contract with the PGA include no tape delay tournaments. Either that or they care very little about the LPGA. Just the money.

The Evian is a joke...so is the ANA....as majors....the people of Lancaster saved the USWO from being considered just a regular LPGA event.

www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/kos-work-leadbetter-has-more-paid/"Ko hit a fade when she came to Leadbetter, but Tina, Lydia’s mother, told Leadbetter they wanted to get rid of Lydia’s shut face and have her gain some more distance." Seriously....LMAO. If you dropped 10 balls in front of The Dragon Lady....I highly doubt she could hit any straight or 200 yard shot...ok....I really doubt we'd see one straight over 150 yards...and she's telling Deadbetter how she wants Lydia's swing changed? ? The Dragon Lady also questioned whether, Brian Alexander (a member of Vancouver Golf Club and past BC Sr. Men's Am Champ) who looped for Lydia as a volunteer, whether if he was capable of carrying Lydia's bag....another LMAO. Remember the crap Dina Ammacapanne received when she thought a low cap teen was too small to loop for her...yet he was quite competent...otherwise the caddie master at Pumkpin Ridge would have bounced him from his stable. I LUV Tina. I honestly believe a monkey could coach Lydia....the kid is that talented....she's a prodigy. Lydia was getting fatigued heading into the 2012 CN CWO...her swing was getting too steep.....so Scott Rodgers (head pro of Meadow Gardens GC) gave her a tip and days later...... Ko is holding the trophy. Unless Ko's had trajectory changed since the 2012 CN CWO before heading to Deadbetter...all I saw were straight shots from Lydia at the 2012 CN CWO.....she was paired with Lewis in the final rd...and Stacy is not really considered short off the tee....yet often Lydia had no issues keeping up with Lewis and out driving her at times. I also think Lydia reached the par 5 10th on two too in the final rd. And for those that remember the 2013 CN CWO....Ko also at times out drove Tutta and Hedwall (both also are not considered distance challenged) during the final rd to go onto to defend her title by 5 shots and 6 and 8 shots clear of Caro and Tutta. I'm still so disappointed Guy Wilson was dumped.....but I guess it was difficult for Tina to say no to BJ who likely had a referral fee from Lead Poisoning.

I'm rooting for Lydia....but will she succumb to the pressure of trying to win it all while Ice Queen (Bumble Bee) demonstrates no signs of stress. Ko does have an advantage....I suspect she's been at Tiburon for a while
But I believe the LPGA pros cannot play the course prematurely....I believe the 1st available rds are Sunday before LPGA events start on the Monday....can anyone verify or dispute?.....thx.

www.golf.com/golf-plus/lydia-ko-greatest-young-golfer-history-gamejust saw this on another golf forum. The fake Korean is a FREAK......KO is KOOL!! She also was so well versed in her interviews even at 15. Did you guys read the comments under the article...those idiots would get slaughtered by Ko on the links.....those clowns just don't realize the top women pros are likely a +4 to +5 cap...and this is based on a men's handicap rating not a women's handicap rating. The women's game is not increasing because fools like these really believe they can beat a women pro....these goofs would also only last 15 seconds in the octagon with Rousy or Holm.

I'm still so disappointed Guy Wilson was dumped.....but I guess it was difficult for Tina to say no to BJ who likely had a referral fee from Lead Poisoning. I was disappointed too because Lydia and Guy Wilson was such a nice story. But there are people, like fellow Kiwi Stevie Williams who thinks Lydia's camp screwed Guy Wilson. When Lydia met Guy, he was stocking gloves in the pro shop. Now he owns his own golf academy, with parents flocking to him to make their kids the next Lydia Ko. Lydia gave him his career, if not already made him a rich man. She doesn't owe him a thing. Her camp picked Leadbetter probably from some package deal with IMG and Callaway. But more importantly, Leadbetter actually goes to a lot of LPGA events for his players, Wiesy, Tutta (previous) etc. I cannot imagine Guy Wilson willing to get away from his thriving golf school, fly 20 hours to be with Lydia for her tournaments.

I'm watching it now on GC (tape delay, of course), but I missed the beginning and they won't show a replay. But, you won't believe the JTBC schedule...they showed Round One live for three hours on Friday at 1:30 AM Korea time, which would be 11:30 AM EST on Thursday. Plus, they have three replays after that. This link has their schedule: jtbcgolf.joins.com/tv/tv_timer.asp************* Old Mike was not abandoned in Asia.

Phil When you are picking up some snacks for MHL at H Mart....drop in at KFC and pick up 2 buckets of chicken for Old Mike. MHL should be kissing his butt considering she toasted him after Evian.
I think your MHL fanboying is paying off....yes I knew nothing of her previously and thought she'd be a pro struggling to keep her card...she's climbing nicely in the Rolex rankings. Hmmmmm...she fires a -5 and no post rd interview??...oh I forgot....she has black hair.

Nice to see Alison Lee back in action....also nice to see Judy back in the booth....Paige also looked good on Golf Central.....I'm biased.....so I cut her slack...but Paige is not a TV natural...stuttering too often to find words....nervousness? What the heck is up with SYR? Stacy was on full bore POUTY FACE today and Judy was talking about it so much....if Lewis continues with poor play tomorrow we could see a club helicopter into the many ponds at Tiburon. Hmmmmm....lots of Yanks on top of the leader board.

www.lpga.com/news/2015-cme-group-tour-championship-round-1-notes-and-interviewsThe link above has the excerpt below: Mi Hyang Lee Goes Low After Week OffMi Hyang Lee had been on the road overseas for seven straight weeks when floods ripped through Columbia, S.C., where she lives, but she finally got a week off last week and went back to Columbia to both check out the damage, gain some weight, and work on her game. “Seven weeks in a row! I lost like ten pounds,” Lee said. “After I lost weight, I am feeling like I’m so tired. I did a lot of eating last week at home. That’s better for this week.” Whether the extra grubbing turned into extra fuel is up for debate but her game certainly showed sparks on Thursday with a 5-under-par 67 that included birdies on five of her first eight holes and eight on a day in which she hit 14 fairways and 14 greens. “Eight birdies, I think that’s awesome, great,” Lee said. “I made like three bogeys, that’s a little I want to make I can save the par, but it’s an easy chip I missed. So that’s a little sad for me. But still good playing, so I want to keep it up for tomorrow.” As for Lee’s home, that was fine, but she noticed the remnants of the flooding around as she perused around town last week during her week off. “My house is not a problem,” Lee said. “I saw closed roads, instructions to go around it and stuff. So a little sad for that!”
