My last turn of the season in the tally room takes us to the land of the rising sun for one last late night scoreboard watching session, and since this is not on TV outside of Japan and Korea scoreboard watching is what most of us will be reduced to this week. It's also one of the few 54 hole events left on the schedule but I'm starting it early in the hope that we'll have a stronger turnout than this past week.
Your top twelve together with up to three alternates (surname followed by given name) needs to be in place no later than Thursday 5 November at 2300GMT/6pmEST/3pmPST. As of this writing the field list is only available on the event's website. Good luck!

Slight improvement from last week as we have sixteen PakPickers taking part.
The 404 report has just one name on it: cannuck. Not only was he apparently not paying attention to Azahara Munoz' travails in Bali where she's been stranded most of this week because an ash cloud from a nearby volcano has closed the airport but he also listed "J Shin" on his card as well, not realizing that there are two J Shins in the field. Both are in contention and one is currently leading at the 2/3rd mark, so both of his alternates come into play.
Stacy Lewis is the highest ranked player in the field and is this week's only unanimous selection. Lexi Thompson, playing for the first time since her win in Korea, has fifteen nods with the 2013 winner of this event, Teresa Lu, mentioned on fourteen cards. The rest of this week's selections in descending order:12: Candie Kung 11: Bo Mee Lee 10: Mi Hyang Lee, Jiyai Shin 9: Hyo Joo Kim, Mika Miyazato 8: Ilhee Lee 7: Sun Ju Ahn, Ha Na Jang, Mirim Lee 6: Yani Tseng, Karrie Webb 5: Chella Choi 4: Paula Creamer, Momoko Ueda, Michelle Wie, Sakura Yokomine 3: Sandra Gal, Haru Nomura, Shiho Oyama 2: Eun Hee Ji, Kim Kaufman, Ayaka Watanabe 1: Erina Hara, Ariya Jutanugarn, Danielle Kang, Erika Kikuchi, In Kyung Kim, Min Seo Kwak, Ji Hee Lee, Alena Sharp, Jenny Shin In the first round a popular scoring combination was Stacy, Lexi and either Jiyai and/or Yani (all T8). Four contestants led with five scoring selections apiece since in addition to those four they also had Ilhee, or in canlinny's case Jenny (both T3). Canlinny was alone in explicitly selecting the only Shin still playing on the LPGA Tour; cannuck's vagueness cost him a place on the podium at this stage, although he alone tabbed Alena. Olamin was unique in picking Ji Hee but he trails your humble scorer due to placement.1. IceCat 44.50 (5) 2. olamin 43.50 (5) 3. canlinny 39.50 (5) 4. cannuck 39.00 (5) 5. ghinhee 37.25 (4) 6. dennis 35.25 (4) 7. centurion 30.50 (4) 8. GD Smyth 29.75 (4) 9. shung 26.75 (3) 10. Golfing Grammy 26.00 (3)
11. baggerbob 25.25 (3) 12. tonyj5 24.50 (3) 13. tatkins 22.25 (3) 14. Verdant Garden 21.75 (3) 15. Saint-Just X 16.50 (2) 16. Schoolteacher Cindy 13.50 (2) Round two saw Stacy, Ilhee and Alena drop off the leaderboard, hurting lots of players. None more so than tonyj5 and Golfing Grammy, who were each left with just Lexi to give them 6.75 points apiece to anchor the Standings. Tony's probably not feeling so grrrreat right now (pardon the pun) but at least he has company. At the other end four players lead with four selections apiece. Helped out by the surging Sun Ju Ahn (T3) were shung and olamin. Shung's score included points from the other newcomer to the table, Eun Hee Ji (T8 with Jiyai, Yani and Lexi), while olamin's unique selection Ji Hee moves to T6. As mentioned previously Jenny Shin is your 36 hole leader.1. shung 38.25 (4) 2. olamin 36.25 (4) 3. canlinny 33.75 (4) 4. IceCat 31.75 (4) 5. Verdant Garden 25.00 (3) -- tatkins 25.00 (3) 7. centurion 24.25 (3) 8. GD Smyth 22.25 (3) 9. Saint-Just X 19.75 (2) 10. baggerbob 19.00 (2)
11. Schoolteacher Cindy 18.75 (2) 12. ghinhee 18.00 (2) 13. dennis 16.50 (2) 14. cannuck 15.50 (2) 15. Golfing Grammy 6.75 (1) --- tonyj5 6.75 (1) Who will emerge victorious this week? Stay tuned...Kevin
