Meaning, this will be the first time in the past five seasons where she will complete an LPGA season without a victory. |

To the WRX guys.....so who are your nominations for The MOOSE? IMO...we have 3 co-winners....Lewis, Candie and Tutta......finally an event where Lexi is not considered...oh wait...she didn't play. |

I finally watched the coverage, remaining unspoiled all that time. When I noticed there was an hour and a half left in the coverage and they were on 16, I thought for sure we were talking playoff. Nope! Just really slow golf and a lot of commercials... I've also gotten good at fast forwarding the start of the coverage without looking at the screen, because Golf Channel is so good at spoiling the result. After I watched, I rewound. Sure enough, the Golf Channel had Golf Central before the broadcast, and the last image before the LPGA coverage started was of Sei Young Kim holding a trophy. I would have been PISSED if I had seen that before watching. How stupid can you be? Anyway, Sei Young is uber talented, and she really hung in there, and made several amazing clutch putts and plays on the back nine. Congrats to her! But my goodness, that lady gets more miraculous shots to fall her way than anyone I've ever seen. Let's see: we had her hit the ball in the water on 10. No problemo, just chip in to save par! Then she had the 3-wood drive that hit the cart path and perfectly bounded about 30 yards forward, giving her a short wedge that led to an easy birdie. And of course, the biggest break was Kung and Lewis missing some of the shortest putts I've seen all week. How did Kim walk off of 17 still tied for the lead? I literally couldn't believe they both missed those putts. Still, great stuff, and it was nice to see the Korean gals nab at least one of these Asian swing events. The win moved Sei Young to 7th in the world. So now Hyo Joo is not on the Olympic team (currently it's Inbee, Ryu, Sei Young, then In Gee). I think it's the first time Kim has ever been ahead of Hyo Joo in the world rankings. Amazing. Sisters Hwaiting! |

They were still tied going into eighteen.
Sei Young made birdie and they didn't.
Bottom line she won, lucky or not!!

Totally agree on The GC being stupid. You've made a conscious decision to air the tournament 12 hours after it has ended, and yet you feel you need to display the results before the airing? If I was a sponsor, I'd be royally pi**ed.
