Muni He is really something. I am a big fan of hers, as well as her fellow high schooler--Haley Moore. I can't figure out why Haley wasn't invited to China, she is a vastly superior player. Hmmmm....am I the only one that catches onto to your sarcasm?

Wow...only a few holes in and a lot of feature pros are gagging it up. WTF....Jiayi Zhou is blowing canal water....+17 through 7 holes...even The Smiling Buddha would not be that embarrassing....they should have invited 12 yr old Lucy Li instead of this gal.
edit: someone's abacus is not working.....Zhou's score has changed to +6 to +4....hopefully those scores from Ko & Yang are incorrect too...otherwise Jason will be back on pins and needles.

I'm expecting to see Recari go 'postal' soon...she's stinking it up. I posted the above when Bea was only +3...she shot +8 in rd 1. I think PXG might be regretting their decision. www.pxg.com/pros/beatriz-recariBea lost her TM sponsorship....Belen lost her TM sponsorship in 2013.

Hmmmmm...coincidence? ....The Smiling Buddha decides to watch Xi Yu Lin for a couple of holes and chats with her at the CP CWO...and she has played well since...Janet didn't even rub his boiler for luck neither. I doubt he would have given Xi Yu any time if she was just another white faced pro. Janet is not your standard small framed Asian...she's sturdy....a very nice young lady. She doesn't travel with her family....and I think not only is Mardi Lunn a good loop for Janet...IMO....Mardi is an ex-LPGA pro...seems like Mardi is also a chaperone for Xi Yu on tour. I think Mardi has instilled a lot of confidence into Janet. From her post rd press conference...Lydia said: "Considering I destroyed the field last week by 9 strokes...I decided to be charitable and spot the field 5 strokes this week.....I'm still gunning for you Inbee".

I was certain China would eventually dominate in golf and Korea and the US would be a side show. Thanks to Xi Jinping, America doesn't have to worry about a bunch of commies traipsing around the countryside.

- Inbee Park has withdrawn before Round 2. Anybody have any news about why? Guess we'll hear about it during the broadcast.

It is an amazing coincidence that withdrawals always happen when a player is over par with no chance to win. Unfortunately Se Ri has been a trendsetter in this category.
Jack Youngblood would have been a pathetic professional golfer. He played in the 1979/1980 playoffs, Superbowl and even the freaking Pro Bowl with a broken leg.

How about these scores...they killed it last year, but what happened this year? Just watched the end of the replay...they've got a raised pavilion/grandstand structure to the right of the 18th green and five people were standing along the railing. Mo Martin continues to spurn the advances of Mr. TaylorMade, but Hee Young Park is a little more agreeable.

If a player is hurt but is still in contention, they are far more likely to stick it out. If they're hurt and that injury is affecting their game, it just makes sense to pull out.

Tough conditions out there. I don't think the telecast did a good job showing the wind. The severely undulated greens make approach shots critical, but the wind was blowing the ball all over the place. As they noted during the telecast, 3 putts were very common.
