I'll bet Daddy had some pointed questions for Geezer Mike about Mi Hyang's overclubbing on the weekend. Phil Larry's site reported that old Mike got canned....now he can go home and collect old age security. Here's your chance to loop for MHL...her old man likes you. I wonder who MHL will pick up for the Asia swing....MHL will likely play all 5 events.

Dave Brooker; yeah, I used to talk to him and Grace each year when they came to Portland. I wonder if he's still out there? I liked Hee Won Han's caddie too, but can't remember his name anymore. Brooker looped for Tutta...then got an offer on the PGA tour and is maybe still there. You should get your media creds for the 2016 KPMG. Assuming no conflicts I want to attend Fri-Sun...I might try to catch a Mariner's game...too bad the Seahawks season doesn't start....I'd like to play Chambers but I'm not paying $250+ for a green fee in June....I'll likely play it one day in the winter....it drains well.

I believe Dave Brooker is looping for D.H. Lee. That sounds familiar.

mr3putt: Yeah, it will be a great job until I hand her a 6-iron for a 9-iron (I did that to myself once...can't recall if I found the ball), which will get me drummed out of Team Mi Hyang forever. I think it's best that I don't do anything to spoil our expanding relationship! I did a little research on old Mike Carrick. He was with Tom Kite for 21 years until he got sacked on Easter Sunday, 2001. His next loop was Jonathon Byrd, who became ROY in 2001. He had Mark Hensby at the 2005 Masters & USWO and he picked up a win in 2006 with J.B Holmes at Phoenix. I don't know who she'll pick next. There are a lot of LPGA caddies among the players who don't qualify for the Asian swing...maybe she'll get one of them. Maybe she'll bring back Ivan if that bridge hasn't been burned already. Perhaps a local club loop each week will do. As a last resort, she can hand the bag to daddy; he had it when she won in New Zealand in 2014:

Phil I too was thinking MHL would use a loop from a pro who didn't qualify for the Asia swing...I thought she might ask her countrywomen to borrow their loop...but many Koreans qualified.
MHL could use a local loop or member or some pro shop employee at each site assuming they speak English/Korean.
I'm thinking dad might loop.....but don't they fight a lot? It looked like Donnie Green..showed up, shut up and kept up...looping for Jaye Marie....and he's a certified teaching professional...he's a nice and funny guy....very approachable.
Talk about Asia swing...how many invites will Brooke obtain? Maybe 2-3 or zero...likely the back 1/2....Taiwan, China, Japan. Brooke is looping for sis this week.

I've never seen or heard about any friction between MHL and daddy, for whatever that's worth. He had her bag at least once during her 2012 Symetra season: Here's her loop from her 2014 win at Mizuno...he's not familiar to me at all and he's not the guy she used before Ivan in early 2015. Maybe if Dean Herden needs to break the monotony of retirement for a week or two... ******************* Isn't it beautiful how these two are constantly helping each other?

I always had the impression that MHL's dad was overbearing from some of the posts I read and from the feedback of a guy who looped for her in Hawaii.
It's great that both sisters wants the other to succeed....but I'm scared that Brooke could injure herself looping for Brittany and she has the most to lose...I don't know if stand bags or pull/push carts are allowed on the Symetra.
One would think that if Brittany was really serious about her golf career she would have played the last 2 Symetra events...the event two weeks ago had the largest purse of the year.
In a way....I don't think golf should have caddies.
I also think more courses should be walk only...like Bandon and Chambers. It's obviously a financial show stopper to restrict golf carts...otherwise we'd see more walk only courses...especially in larger metro areas. And often when you see yahoo's on the course...they are often riding with 12 beers in the cart cooler.
