I guess i have to eat my words about Deadbetter. I hope this great site will continue in spite of absolute dominance of Queen Ko that is coming. Im looking forward to seeing the pictures of the traitor.

Congratulation to So Yeon. So glad to see So Yeon finally recognized for the wonderful person that she is. Since the first day that I saw her in the Phoenix tournament. (Even though I went there to follow Jimen Kang.) I knew that she were not just a great golfer but a special person.

Congratulation to Lydia Ko for the great finish and win. The QUESTION about her first Major win, can be put to bed. Good finish by Inbee and other sisters for top tens. Also Lexi for second place finish.

Lydia wins with a TKO in 72!

Lydia's 63 must be in the running for best final rounds in a major. In fact she might be the only other player than J. Miller at Oakmont in '73 to shoot a 63 in the final round to win. (In '73 only 4 players shot under par that day compared to over 20 today.)

(In '73 only 4 players shot under par that day compared to over 20 today.) It is one of the greatest final rounds ever, that is for sure. It would have been far more impressive if it she scored 63 at Oakmont instead of a resort course where the winning score was 16 under.

The thing I like about watching Ko is that she hits all the shots. Sawed off 6 irons w/ no follow through, gripping down to the metal 50 yard punch shots. Not to mention how she know exactly where to hit the ball. Some of the bank shots she played into the pins this week were fun to watch. A few fist pumps or club raises would be nice. And there is something fun about watching the time bomb players who might pull it off and might explode. Charley Hull is one you can tell is white-knuckling it around the course.

It was a great round, but not on a course set up as a Major. It's is not even close to Na Yeon's Choi win in the U S Open in Kohler Wisconsin.

Yeah, That 65 by NYC might be one of the best rounds vs the field avg. ever. 65 vs 76.89, so 12 shots.

I'll bet Daddy had some pointed questions for Geezer Mike about Mi Hyang's overclubbing on the weekend. Today, she wore the same cap and top from the Sunday round of the 2014 Mizuno Oh well, there are many more shots at REAL majors ahead for MHL. Great day for Lydia, and, of course, a 63 is a super score on any tourney golf course. But, Johnny Miller's 63 was better. First, he did it at Oakmont. Second, he passed 12 guys from 6 strokes back. The broadcasters didn't sound overly thrilled with this golf course. How long does it take for course changes to "mature"? I guess three years isn't enough. Also, I'm no architect or agronomist, but I couldn't believe how fast one of the greens puddled up after the rain started on Saturday. I thought they employed a concept called DRAINAGE over there.

Lydia Ko just schooled the field today. Out-of-this-world performance. She was the only player who had control over the greens.
Another high finish for Alison Lee. I have to give her more respect in the Pakpicker. I hope she crushes it in the Solheim.

I guess i have to eat my words about Deadbetter. Ko would have won this and other events if she wasn't with Deadbetter...Guy Wilson set her up with sound fundamentals that Ko should be able to figure out her own swing as long as The Dragon Lady stays out of the picture.
