Wow. You and I STRONGLY disagree on Lexi.

She just doesn't have a pied piper personality (yet) to lead people into the sport or make you want to watch, IMO. Admittedly, I'm not around a lot of tween age girls to see who they are drawn to so I'm mostly speaking for myself. I think Jaye Green, Alison Lee and Salas would be nice to see featured more, among others. Thus far Lexi has earned her TV time and good for her, I'm just saying I don't naturally/easily pull for her.

There are plenty of people who like Lexi. Unfortunately it doesn't appear she will ever have the necessary short game to be a superstar. I hope I am wrong.

Well So Yeon is not in contention. Not to much golf watching for me. It's football season, my number one sport. College first, Pro Football second, LPGA third and KLPGA forth. JLPGA on too late for me.

Tomorrow's broadcast will be completely "tape" delay. The leaders are starting at 4:35 AM EST and the TV doesn't start until 8:30 AM EST. Avoid lpga.com if you don't want to spoil yourself. Ryu will be the 2016 Evian ambassador and IBP was awarded the Rolex Annika award for best in Majors in 2015 WTF....it a women's major and GC would rather show a repeat of Golf Central and 2 hours of Morning Drive.....huh. No one cares about women's golf....time for me to subscribe to the Women's Lingerie Football channel....they use to play games in Abbotsford, BC....80 km from Van City. I'm glad that SYR is the ambassador in 2016....does it come with a pallet of bottled water?

I think Lexi is miscast in the role of American women's golf savior. She's still young and her personality needs more time to come through but she's not someone that's easy to pull for. Her golf outfits are extreme fashion failure for one thing. It's good she's sponsored by redbull because those outfits crash hard. After that she's a little dull and it's off-putting when someone is so obviously marketed as the next big thing just because she's an american blonde that can win. Still no profile picture of In Gee Chun on the LPGA scoreboard website. Maybe you have to be a member to get one but I wonder when Brookie H. first got hers. It's the little things... Huh...how many times have you watched Lexi play to provide such an opinion? I've seen Lexi at 3 separate events...what you see on TV is what one witnesses at events. Lexi is all business inside the ropes...but then extremely approachable and nice to her fans outside the ropes....a really nice young lady. Yes...I think Lexi is a bit of a natural introvert...but has come out of her shell to model it into her career. Lexi is just simply a nice and likable person. No...Lexi won't be a US women's golf savior because her short game lacks refinement and finesse. Lexi Rocks!!!

Fake Sista, fake major. That's rich.
OK....I shouldn't use 'fake' unless I have your permission...you have it copy written. So when are you going to apologize to SayYouSeri for the fake comments?....he's lurking around here and likely wants to return...lol....at the bottom of the site, you can see who has visited the site.

Awesome news about So Yeon! I knew that Inbee was going to get awarded the Annika award, so no surprise there.
If I'm not mistaken, a Korean has held the 54 holes lead every Major this year, correct? Of those players, only one went on to win: Inbee at KPMG. Amy finished second at US Women's Open, Jin Young Ko second at British, and Sei Young Kim fell down hard at ANA. Interestingly, the three who didn't win had one thing in common: they had never won a Major, while the one who did HAD won Majors before. Mi Hyang is another in the no-Majors category.
This suggest to me that Mi Hyang has to buck the trend to get the win, but best of luck to her. To be honest, the player I'd like to see get this is Amy, but my hunch is it will be Ko.
Amy looked really solid for much of the round, and perhaps not having the target on her back Sunday will allow her to play more freely than she did in Lancaster. There would be something really fitting about her getting her first Major at an LET event, given she won her first pro event on the LET nearly ten years ago (my goodness, that long ago!). GO AMY!
That said, big credit to Mi Hyang for hanging in there after what looked like it was going to be a horrible start. If Amy doesn't pull it off, she's the one I'd like to see get this (unless Inbee pulls off the biggest rally of her career).
Not a great week for the big Korean stars, but you can't win them all. Hopefully Inbee, Sei Young and Minjee can notch top tens, and if the weather gets rough, who knows, they might be able to post a good clubhouse score and watch the fun as the final groups deal with it.
Siisters Hwaiting!!

How about Lexi the Knuckledragger spinning a wedge into the hazard on that short downhill par-3 16th? How about Morgan's brain fart hybrid at #18? They are spoiling GolfChannel's narrative!!! I've yet to watch all of the 3rd rd...only the end so I'll have to watch Lexi's chunk. I don't think Morgan made a bad decision....she just didn't execute. I didn't watch the entire 3rd rd...did Morgan have a borrowed rain suit that was too big...therefore should have taken off the jacket for that approach to 18. I believe the lie was OK....if it wasn't.... Morgan would have laid up. I think she had 175 yds....if she would have laid up...I analogize it to laying up on a 175 yd par 3 with water guarding the right side....and who does that. Morgan just came down too steep and chunked it. It's Morgan hitting the shot...NOT....Rock....the commentators were questioning why he didn't question her decision. IMO......Rock's role is to support Pressel's decision and give her confidence entering the shot...not questioning her decision feeding Morgan some bad vibes. It was 175 yds...Morgan stubbed the monkey.

Hopefully Lydia is due for a good putting rd.....but her 5-10 ft putting has been suspect for a while...including her CP CWO win too....I'd like to see Ko become the youngest major winner....but she should have fixed her putting by now and has not. IMO...she's tinkering too much with her putting and has lost her trust and too focused on Aimpoint Express and line and likely lost some focus on speed. Ko has bogey'd the 18th all 3 rds...WTF.
If Lexi plays her usual aggressive style and finds her putting.... she could win by 2 strokes.
MHL has been playing well and steady......and has taken advantage of the par 5's....she just might pull it off.
Morgan's GIR just isn't there.
Due to the weather forecast...there are playing in 3somes...so Lexi, Lydia and MHL will be a great final group to watch.
Yes, Shanshan might be the dark horse. She showed great confidence with her driver and some nice ball striking when I watched her for a few holes along with Charley at the CP CWO.
I have no clue who will win tomorrow...weather could play a huge factor.

Amy's not a great closer....and she has a lot of competent leaders to beat in order to hold up the trophy...but hey...it's one rd...so anyone can find that lightening in a bottle......including Amy. I'm glad to see Amy now has a front of hat sponsor. Amy has a great effortless swing.
I believe Amy also donated her 1st LET win earnings....wasn't she 15 or 16?

Along with Nicole Castrale...SYR is one of the most stylish pros at gala events...SYR is such a sweety and doll.
Annika use to be my fav golfer when she was competing....now I wish she'd just fade away in retirement.

I believe Amy also donated her 1st LET win earnings....wasn't she 15 or 16? Her first LET win as a PROFESSIONAL, you mean. She won the Australian Ladies Masters as a 16 year old amateur in 2006, so she didn't get prize money, just a tour card provided she turned professional and traveled with a parent or guardian until she turned 18. Her second LET win and first as a professional came at the 2008 Ladies German Open at 19 years of age, and it was that prize money (US $61,260) that she donated to help the victims of that year's Sichuan earthquake.
