Players choose their match play opponents:
One interesting twist: each player will be teamed with their opponent in a special competition; the best cumulative score in the stroke play portion wins a team prize. So even though they might want to pick the weakest opponent, it also benefits them to pick a decent player so they have a chance at the team event.

As soon as the coverage start, Min Sun Kim 7 starts playing like a superstar. Wins two straight holes, then when Ina gets within two feet on 11, Kim gets even closer. Come on, Ina! Time to stop goofing around and buckle down! Hwaiting!

Not much Ina can do. Seven hit another almost perfect shot, maybe three feet from the hole, going for four straight birdies. In her entire life she has never played as perfectly as she is playing now. Ah well, I'd rather Ina lose here and kick butt in Q-Series.
