Interesting final day! Min Sun Kim 7 was the lowest ranked player in the field, yet she beat the top ranked player yesterday, and today beat Su Ji Kim in a playoff to win the title, her first win since joining the tour! (I think she only got into the field because Jin Seon Han had to skip, but I'm not 100% sure).  Meanwhile, Ina Yoon and Hyun Jo Yoo actually both played better than anyone in the A Field, but because they lost yesterday could not qualify for the win. Basically, if Ina had chosen almost anyone else to compete against and won yesterday, she'd quite possibly be the overall champ today. Ina and Kim teamed to win the Best Team award as well. So it turned out to be a great result for Ina despite losing yesterday, while for Seven it might be a life changing result. Congrats to all! |
