"Thanks for joining us from 'Malaysh-er'," we've got one more week to treasure these Aussie accents. Or do they do the Lotte too, I can't remember...

I hope Ginny ate her Wheaties today. She has the 2 bomber sisters in her group re Awesome Kim and Yealimi. Too bad that Auston is a sponsor invite; she'd have qualified based on her ranking today. Auston was given the CME Global points even though she was a sponsor invite, because she'd have been qualified based on this week's ranking. Unfortunately, she only earned 1.950 points because she finished T70.

Dow teammates NASA and The New Ko had dinner together Saturday night ("We ate a variety of Japanese foods, such as hotpot and okonomiyaki") and were grouped together on Sunday.

Don't know if they are locals or not ... per Wikipedia, Malaysia is about 23% ethnic Chinese ... they, too, need a replacement for NYC.

Congratulation to Ruoning Yin for her win.
Really great Tournament by Hae Ran Ryu close seems to be Korean golfers motto this year. No matter how well they score some one seems to score better. Hanah Green, I think had a two-shot lead going into Final round shoot even par and win. At least three golfers won a Tournament this year with a par on the first playoff hole. One of them was two over on the Final round.
Hye Jin Choi bounced back after one over third round with a clean six under Final round
After trailing Mao Saigo by ten strokes the first round Jin Hee Im tied her for the Tournament. I guess she isn't going away that easy.
Jin Young Ko after a one over front nine had a five birdies no bogey back nine.
A Lim Kim sixty fourth place and Hyo Joo Kim sixty sixth place has work to do to make CME Globe

Just finished watching the delayed broadcast of the final round. Very exciting! All three players in the final group were giving it their best. Only two bogeys among them. Alas, one of them was Hae Ran's on the par 4 17th. Her second shot rested on the hazard line bordering the creek that was running through the hole. She was unable to get it up and down leaving her two shots behind. Still, she gave it a go with an eagle putt try on 18. Ronnie Yin was able to sink her birdie putt there to clinch it.
The crowds were huge and enthusiastic. It was entertaining.
On to the Land of the Rising Sun.

The very first shot they showed in the broadcast was Yin trying to deal with a tricky lie. The second I saw it, I said, if she gets on the green and doesn't bogey, the final result three hours from now will be her winning, Thitikul second and Hae Ran third. And sure enough, that's exactly what happened. It's too bad I can't monetize making predictions when a round starts broadcasting, because I'm really good at it. Well, congrats to Yin. It's just the way it is this year: no matter how well Koreans play, there's always someone playing a little better. Hae Ran played brilliantly, had a share of the lead, and only missed a few birdie putts, but it just wasn't enough. At least Her Jin and Hae Ran are playing well at the moment. I honestly don't think we are going to see another Korean win this year, but at least it's nice seeing them on the broadcast. Meanwhile, congrats to Jin Hee for tying Saigo, I certainly didn't expect that. Now here's what needs to happen: Im goes into Japan and beats Saigo in front of her home fans, gets the win and the ROY. After all the Korean humiliation this year, it would be nice to see at least one more thing go their way. Yeah, I don't expect that, either, but I can dream. Jin Young sucked but at least she had a round in the 60s to finish up. Hope she can dial in her best stuff in the next few weeks and do something a whole lot better. Hwaiting!

It was a fun watch with the 3 best young players of Asia. Ronni is having a blast beating her friends.
Nice final round for Bailey Tardy who is reborn on the Asian swing and moves safely into the top 60. Yealimi moved up one spot and is playing Japan and taking a break from Hawaii where it will be Annie's last gasp to avoid Q school.
