It's 10 top tens this season, not 11. She had six of those in the first two months of the season. Her win % and top ten % has gone markedly down in the past four months. This isn't just one or two players beating her, this is dozens of players, with her finishing well down the leaderboard several times: seven finishes outside the top 20, four outside the top 40.
Whether the slump comes from hitting fewer GIRs or putts or just missing a few crucial shots when it matters most doesn't matter; the results are what count.
Where the course stats do come into play is how long it will take her to start executing at her top level again. I've always felt like she was going to get back to form sooner rather than later. It feels like a mental issue more than a physical one, so with luck she'll gather herself and return to her great form.

Nike Girl Yool Lyn Lee is having a moment. She's moved into solo second. This is by far her best tournament in her career to date. She's still three behind Han Sol Ji, but what an amazing and unexpected tournament she's having!
Ina has been standing still, but Youmin Hwang is four under and on the move. Min Byeol, alas, is really having a weak final day.

Tough day by Hee Jeong Lim with four bogeys one birdie. At least she made birdie on eighteen which should bring a small smile to her face. Min Byeol is also having a bad day with three bogeys no birdies through seventeen holes.
Guess I will go check out that birdie fest on the LPGA. Doesn't the LPGA have any pride in their product setting the course up this easy.
Oh, never mind I think that I will stick with the KLPGA and watch professional golf.
Ok it's official Min Byeol Kim made birdie on eighteen, so she can also have a small smile on her face.

That two putt on seventeen may have won it for Han Sol Ji. Han Sol stumbled a little coming in but a two putt on eighteen should close the deal. A big Congratulations to the Han Sol Ji for a tough win!!! A really good Tournament by Hee Young Park little sister Ju Young (Pak) Park

I have to say this one was a little dull. It felt like Han Sol was going to wrap this one up from the start of Saturday, and there was no real threat to her all weekend. Having said that, she is wicked cool, so congrats to her for getting the win! Yool Lyn Lee has struggled a lot this year, sometimes finishing down near the bottom of the leaderboard. Her tie for second was by far the best she has done this year. She has made just eight cuts this season, with only two in the top twenty before this week (none in the top ten). This moved her to 63rd on the money list, close to keeping her card. Ina managed four decent rounds this week. She hasn't been able to channel her superstar form lately, but a top five goes a long way towards her quest for top post season hardware. And nice job for the teenaged amateur Yun Seo Yang on a top ten! Hwaiting!

With the shortest glimpse from the furthest distance, it's clear her vibe is killer. Kind of like the A Lim aura, but a little less of the queen and more the cheeky aunt. I think her celebrations will have been the hottest ticket in town.
Watching both k and u.s lpga's today I conjured up another comparison. Hyun Jo Yoo = Jeeno
*obviously, I dont know any of them at all and wouldn't claim to*

"It's 10 top tens this season, not 11."
Are you talking about the 2024 season?
Today makes the 11th and it's actually 12 because you forgot the 100 million won and top 10 in Japan. So she's over a billion won again.
Yewon played seven Majors this year.
You want to focus solely on competition. Golf is not a contact sport. There is no team. It's you alone against the elements with the best swing you can put forth. You have no impact on other players or groups.
How is it Yewon's fault for other players "getting lucky" or whatever is causing their success?
This year could be a fluke. Random luck caused a few players to play well. Well Yewon's statistics show last year wasn't a fluke.
If you're genuinely a good player, you'll play well year after year. Yewon is doing that. She hasn't had a "rotten" year yet.
It's this "what have you done for me lately" mentality that causes over compensation and errors.
You said so yourself it is mental. Well calling this period a slump is false in my view because it invites solutions to problems that might not even exist.
Changing caddies might have been a mistake for all we know.

If I could put my two cents in for what it's worth. Hee Jeong Lim was playing great golf with four wins and two Majors. Unfortunately, she had an accident and hasn't got her game back to that lever
So before calling golfers lucky when they win, luck plays a part in every win. Fortunate bounces a chip in, a long putt made among other things. So before looking down on others, achieve what Min Ji Park has done. If they stay on the KLPGA for an extended amount of time. Also, what the great golfers that has come and went on to great Careers on the LPGA. I jumped on Yewon Lee bandwagon her first year because I thought that she was a great golfer. Also with a great personality, but I have soured on her because she has been put on a pedestal above others.

I also wouldn't blame a golfer for the media putting them on a pedestal. Personally, I immediately didn't want Jeongmin to run away. I'm so glad she back. We know the best players show consistency. Hyun-kyung has always done "okay" over years. What's the lowest she has been? 15th in money or something? This year is special for her. No one thought Hyun-kyung would do this. Is she going to do this next year? Wishing her the best of luck. Minji was amazing for nearly three years. I'm amazed she won this year, but good for her. She is a legend. Any player can have that special awesome year. Golf is hard. How many of you will look at the top 10 in December and wonder "who will replicate this in 2025?" Why? Because golf is hard and YOU ALL look for consistency. It's not my fault Yewon is so consistent. She's so consistent she is not in a slump statistically. I believe after her winter training she will do fine in 2025.
