Interesting video. Hyun Jo Yoo won last week by strenuously avoiding hitting driver off the tee. She's a long hitter but has had issues with hitting too left.

Not that it warrants is own thread, but Epson land has 4 players that have clinched their card for next year.
Last week's winner, Spaniard Fatima Fernandez Cano is one of them. She won top dog - I will guess 2 or 3 seasons ago - but proceeded to make a grand total of 1 cut on the lpga the following year and was relegated faster than Luton Town. Lauren Stephenson was one my picks who is coming back as well. Fiona Xu and Cassie Porter were 2 picks who look safe as I whiffed on the rest (so far) 😑
Soo Bin is currently at 17, so she is close. Minor league sister MVP KumKang Park is 25 and underachiever in 2024 Jenny Bae is 32. Saki Baba is near also sitting in the 21st spot.
Upon glancing at the entries for this week, it looks like both Jen and AP will be focusing her strength on the LPGA calendar to close out the year

Shin Sil Bang had to withdraw due to high fever. She was scheduled to pair with Ina Yoon and Youmin Hwang in a battle of the bombers. She has been replaced by Da Hyun Yoon (no relation to Ina).

Hee Jeong Lim had two birdies and two bogeys.
She goes from almost the last tee time to almost the first tee time.
Oh well she just has to play her way to better tee times, because they don't like her.
Great clean score card by Min Byeol Kim with four birdies.

I saw a bit of the action last night. It was really crappy conditions -- rain, wind, yuckiness - until Ina got to about the 13th hole or so, after which it improved enough for the ladies to take their jackets off at least.
As for Ina, just one of those rounds. She wasn't playing terribly, just making little mistakes here and there. One hole she hit a perfect drive, then miscalculated the approach (probably because of wind) and overshot the green, leading to a bogey when she missed a five foot par save. That kind of thing. She had a short birdie putt on 11 that would have gotten her to 2 under but missed it and things went south after that.
I don't recall seeing Soo Min Oh. She also shot a 74. Youmin Hwang played better than Ina (they were together) but had one blow up hole where she made double. They said they would explain later why Ji Young Park dropped out but never did.

Ina is having an excellent round so far: 5 under on her first nine to move to 3 under total. Great to have her making a run!
(Soomin Oh is also five under today after 12 holes!)

Everybody making birdies and Hee Jeong Lim just made bogey on 13,14,15 to go to plus two.
She is better than she is showing, so looks like another missed cut and bad tee time.
So she is to blame and i hope that she snaps out of it.
Meanwhile I will jump on the Seung Hui Ro bandwagon.
She plays like Hee Jeong used to play with great ball striking and good putting.
Also waiting for Min Ji Park and Min Byeol Kim to start competing for wins.
