Ina made the poster! Is the KLPGA starting to soften and give her some publicity? We'll know they are forgiving her when she shows up in the pre-event press conference (they haven't had her do one yet).
There was an article about her which mentioned that it was at this event two years ago where she had her first career top ten. This is also the same course where she won her only KLPGA event, the Ever Collagen. Hopefully that will help her efforts this week.

No LPGA players in this one? I guess they will all be in LA and the travel too taxing. I would like to see A Lim come back (that means I can at least see her on SBS vs ZERO coverage here) I'm surprised Youmin did not make the poster, she has 2* wins this year!

When Yoona finished T10, Yewon was one shot better at T6. Also, when Yoona won, Yewon skipped that week in July 2022. |

Watch Hyun-kyung. She is on fire. 4 top 10 already. I wouldn't be shocked if she doesn't do great here, but she is playing really well so far.

She knows what all the questions will be about and she's already immolated herself enough. If I was her, I'd let my sticks do the talking until I get my first win. |

Good point, but she could also pose for the traditional pre-event photo with the other chosen players, and she hasn't done that, either. Might still be awkward to interact with other stars right now.
Shin Sil Bang is also not on the poster, and she's had a great start to her year and is very popular. She could very easily have won the first two events with just a little more luck. She has a second, a t-4, a t-16 and a t-19 in her four starts.

SBS interviewed players yesterday. I'm surprised the link hasn't been posted yet.
As far as I know, no one mentioned Yewon's trip to Japan next week, yet. I wouldn't be shocked if many MinByeol fans don't know she's going to Japan too.
GaEun will be in Japan and everyone should expect that. That's not a secret.
