For the locals, cable channel CSN Northwest is re-broadcasting the Golf Channel feed at 8PM after each round. That's channel no. 179 on Comcast.
I'll be watching trying to figure out why Suzann Pettersen missed the cut.

The Danielle Kang three caddie thing, for he who asked, was a segment they did during the broadcast where Danielle was asked questions, and two of her former caddies (and her current one) competed to see who could match the most answers. It was cute but had to be awkward as hell, especially when she was asked what parting words she said to the caddies she fired and she couldn't remember!
Not a great week so far for the Sisters. Kinda bummed that So Yeon only managed a 71, but she is still only six back and could make a run tomorrow. Ha Na Jang scored the shot of the day with a chip in on the dead nasty 17th hole. Q Baek had a horror day, alas.
Nice day for Mirim Lee and very surprising day for Ju Young Park! I think this course is playing wet, which is probably why some of the long hitters are doing well.
Hyo Joo is lurking three back, Jenny two behind. It would be very cool to see Shin take this, but I'm not sure she is quite ready to win a tournament yet. Hyo Joo, meanwhile, is probably overdue, with only two wins this year (one on the KLPGA).
Kelly Shon reminds me of Candie Kung a little. Her rookie profile revealed that she got the name Kelly because she gave it to herself based on one of her dolls (!). It was either that or Barbie, she said.

Enjoy Brooke while you can. She will have good success but then the swing gurus will start to whisper in her ear about her extraordinarily, unorthodox and homemade swing.
As soon as Butch or Lord Lead gets hold of her, she will be unable to break 80.

So Yeon, one step forward one step backward.
She just can't get into the groove when she has a chance to win.
In all fairness to her, she hit a lot of putts that come close, but doesn't find the hole.
They either lose speed, are a little to fast, or breaks away from the hole last roll.
Hope she finds the answer, because it must be so frustrating to her.
That she haven't won more.

Its going to be fascinating to follow America's reaction to having legitimate Caucasian player with star potential. Annika was never embraced but she was a total pill. Here we go.

It really makes no difference to me if Henderson wins or not (and make no mistake about it, there is no way she is going to lose; it's going to be mighty dull tomorrow). She's clearly good enough to win on tour. I just wish she didn't have so many free chances to play that have nothing to do with her talent. As I've said before, it's bogus that a non-member can play in so very many LPGA tournaments. But if she is going to earn a card, better she earns it with a victory than by amassing a ton of money through sponsors exemptions and earning a top 40 position on the money list.
I guess the closest to a good feeling I had today was Ha Na Jang's decent round. Good luck to her in strengthening her position in the rookie race. And here's wishing So Yeon a run at a top ten. Go Sisters!

As much as LPGA improves it's product nobody watches their events. The PGA Championship will dominate the ratings and the Golf Channel will report the LPGA winner briefly and then return to show highlights from the PGA.
