Tony Huh?? It not called the MERICAN Solheim Cup...it's just the Solheim Cup. Why no discussion about the Euros? Maybe because the Euros Solheim team selection is so convoluted? So many different lists of rankings, qualify this way, that way? What's so convoluted about the Euro qualification system?.....it has 2 options/methods of qualifying (LET & RR)..... the same # of avenues to qualify for the Yanks (SC points & RR).....only difference.....4 Euro captain picks vs. 2 for the US. If I had to pick today...it would be Lang & Alison...Korda out. And if Stanford wants to serve her country vs. being selfish...she'd bow out...she s*cks at the SC. I'd also like to see MW step aside...she's broken...but will she will hobble around wrapped in 5 rolls of KT tape and a foot/ankle brace...just so we can see the Swoosh. Euros captain picks: Icher, Masson and the final 2 are a tough choice among Boeljon, Clyburn, Lindberg, Hedwall and Recari. But I'll make it simply and make "eye candy" a criteria...so I would pick....Belen Mozo, Recari, Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Lindberg. See......the systems are that complicated. I really can't see the Germans get amp'd up for the SC....I don't think there will be huge galleries.

I'm changing my mind...ya the SC is getting lame due to a poor Euro team.
So if Ping doesn't want to sponsor a new event format...find another sponsor.
Yanks vs. S. Korea......hosted in S. Korea and only in Los Angeles (heck...Trump could host it as his course...as long as Salas isn't on the US team)......although there's quite a few Koreans in the NYC area...people there don't care much for women's golf. At least in LA.....the Koreans can help drown out all the USA USA...ALL THE WAY crap with....KIMCHI and JAPCHAE (Mash Potatoes aren't indigenous in Korea).

I didn't know Bam Bam was Korean...yeah, I forgot that he was constantly editing his posts...I guess he was just a perfectionist. If some 17-year-old Korean amateur made the cut at the Solomon Islands Ladies Masters, HE WOULD POST A BOOK ABOUT IT! I don't remember why he got booted off the old board and I don't need to know. I don't recall his posts ever being " salty". Back to golf...Larry the Looper has Cindy Feng's bag this week.

I am hoping I.K. Kim starts winning. If Se Ri is not in contention, then I root for her to win at Portland then the Perrier. She needs to get the monkey off her back, pronto.

Seriously out there; I gave him many chances, but in the end I just didn't want to deal with 10+ posts like that every day. When he was more lucid, I recall him being the West's biggest Seon Woo Bae fan; he was sure this KLPGA starlet was going to be the next big thing in golf (who knows? She's not bad, might yet happen, but it was certainly a unique opinion nonetheless).

You may be confusing 3putt with bam bam, the other crazy Asian guy. I had to ban ban bam bam when he went off his meds and started posting all that wacky stuff a year or so ago. Happy.....did you and other receive PM's from Bam warning us about the Dark Side (Nike) etc,...Bam would often edit some of his posts 10+ times until he out right deleted some. Happy...huh.....are you calling me a crazy Asian....WTH....I'm reporting you to the moderator....oh I forgot....you are the SOLE mod. I'll issue a warning to that HappyFan guy to behave himself!

The Volvik twitter account posted many practice pix today. It says Chella has a new caddie, but Daddy is still there watching. Mi Hyang with her new wedges...she's grouped with M. Uribe and Jenny Shin and all are under par after nine holes today.

I figured since your Mr. "know it all" on here....maybe you would give us the European side. I did give my Euro and Yank captain picks in my previous post....the Euros picks IMO are great ones....lol.

If I was Chella....I would have contacted the GM to see if a competent golfer/member at Columbia and VGC could loop for her....course knowledge will save any pro 4+ strokes over 4 days.

Hmmmmm...Lydia is 5 strokes behind the leader....I wonder if The Dragon Lady will put Jason on a 'timeout' next week and ask Brian Alexander to volunteer and loop for Lydia again next week.

I'll caddy for Lydia. I wont read her putts. But I can help her. After Tina fires me. I'll try not to cry.

It seems like all the great Sister action came in the morning round, with Hyo Joo, So Yeon and Ha Na Jang shooting 68s. Alas, by the end of the day, the top ten was mostly devoid of Sisters. This course is weird. There are years where the Sisters dominate, and other years where there are none on the leaderboard. Hopefully those three I mentioned can make it interesting! I'm especially hoping So Yeon gets into the hunt. She had this one in the bag last year. Ernst had just finished coughing up two strokes, Ryu was tied for the lead with three to play, and she was coming off a win in Canada. She proceeded to really struggle, barely making par on 17, then on 18 hitting a terrible drive, then dunking it in the water. All she needed was a par for the playoff! I'm only now getting over it! Time for payback. GO SO YEON! I did enjoy the Danielle Kang and her three caddies bit.

So they are not only giving Brooke Henderson max sponsors exemptions, they're giving her sister exemptions now, too? Ranked 707th in the world? She's really that big an attraction? (Checking the Rolex site, by my count there are 203 Korean golfers higher ranked than that, the vast majority of whom have never gotten a sponsors exemption!)
