Wild stuff. Hee Young Park and Ju Young Park are both right near the top of the leaderboard. Imagine if we end up with a sister battle this weekend? Meanwhile, Min Byeol Kim made 10 straight pars to start her day. On the 11th hole, she holed out for eagle to move to within 4 points of the lead.

Great round by Hee Jeong Lim, one birdie her front nine.
However, finished her back nine with five straight birdies for plus twelve today.
No bogeys
Min Byeol Kim needs to change her blade putter for one of those heel and toe weighted putters.
Blade putters are better for greens that have breaking putts.
But most of the KLPGA greens have mostly pretty straight putts which the heel to toe weighted putters keeps the ball online.

Man, I'm bummed because I had a feeling after round one that Hwang was going to win this week, and I would have looked amazing if I had predicted it at that point.
Well, I'll predict it now, though it's not so amazing to guess this at this point with the growing lead she has. Hwang has this one in the bag. She makes the most birdies/round on average on tour this year, and that's going to make her unstoppable the rest of the week. I can't see any way she isn't going to cruise to the win. Unless she suddenly goes cold with the putter, and stats say that isn't likely to happen.

Youmin's entire day was a highlight reel. But the one that made the most difference came on hole 12. She had thoroughly messed up the hole, leaving herself with a twenty+ footer for par. A double would have really derailed her, but she made the par putt, and from there took off into the stratosphere. That putt is at ~9:00 in the highlights. (On 13, she drained another putt of the same length for birdie. When you're on fire, you're on fire).

Hee Jeong Lim and Min Byeol Kim both had five birdies, but Hee Jeong had two bogeys.
Still decent rounds but I was hoping that they both played another round together and get Broadcast Time.
So Mi Lee climbed the Leaderboard with a plus fifteen score.

Min Byeol had a decent chance for eagle on 17 but just missed it. Still, this was easily her best round and currently she's T-5 at +23.
Meanwhile, Hwang has struggled. But she just made a short birdie to move to +30. Moments earlier, Shin Sil Bang drilled a 30 foot putt for eagle on 17 to also move to +30. So all three rookie stars are in the top five, with Bang and Hwang tied for the lead. Amazing stuff!
