Caddie list is out ... it has a blank space next to Sofia Garcia, but I'm 100% sure she's with Ivan Galdame. From CME #170 to another miraculous first-time winner? At least for this week, Ivan doesn't have to subsist on $1.99 hamburgers.

Hang in there, Hyo Joo! Nine of fourteen sisters golfing on the weekend; hope that In Gee is ok.
Great shout out on Garcia and her caddy, Phil. Her pattern this year up to now: Miss three cuts, mediocre finish, miss three cuts, mediocre finish, repeat... Best mediocre finish had been T31 at the pairs event in Midland. Viva la paraguaya! Metro Bucaramanga continues to struggle... Uribe even on the day with a card that looked like something Six would sign -- six birdies, two bogeys, and two doubles... actually Mariajo not in a horrible position going into Saturday. More of the same for Plata though... so sad for me.
The Lexi revival tour continues for a third weekend after beginning at the Solheim. Boutier and Maguire on Lexi's heels. Hang tough, Hyo Joo...
"Anna Lynn" 안나린 needs to right the ship in the next few weeks to stay in the CME field. Just missed the cut which dropped her from CME #60 to projected #61.

Hyo Joo Kim had a decent round to maintain her lead .
Good round by A Lim Kim five birdies one bogey. A typical finish for her with three straight birdies. Saw that finish before at the US Women Open Final Round for the win.
I guess right now So Yeon Ryu making the cut is that she plays on the weekend. But other golfers that has not had success lately can come up with a great round, why not So Yeon

Round 2 Hyo Joo had a solid day two and continues to hold onto the lead. I called it: when I saw that Thompson had made a move, I knew 100% for certain they would have three players/group so she could get into the final group of the day. I still can't figure out what the rules are for two versus three person groups. A Lim 4 under, nice! So Yeon making the cut, even better! This is a home game for So Yeon; probably sleeping in her own bed tonight. So, hope she uses that as motivation. Call out to Hyo Joon Jang at t-15th. I would love to see her grab another top ten to match her Portland performance. Sisters hwaiting!

HF, I agree with you regarding two vs three person groups. It's not always clear why they do it one way vs the other. Sure, sometimes there is a good reason; maybe they're trying to fit in a round on a day when there is bad weather forecasted. Or maybe '65 and ties' or whatever number it happens to be these days ends up with 84 or something because there are so many ties right above the cut line.
But honestly, I pretty much have to agree with you. Imagine the panic at Golf Channel HQ at the end of round two...
[sarcasm] "Who will be the final pair on Saturday?" "Some Korean Kim, aren't there like five or ten of them according to Hank Haney? And some Spanish rookie, Rivera or Mendoza or Garcia or something, I think she's from Chile or some place like that? But she's not hot looking like Fassi!" "Why couldn't it have been some golfers that people actually knew, like Inbee Park, too bad she's retired, and that Spanish woman Ciganda that won the Solheim?" "Wait! Lexi's in third place! Make sure the LPGA knows that they need to play threesomes on Saturday! Problem solved!" [/sarcasm]

What an experience it will be for rookie Sofia Garcia to play with 11-time winner Lexi Thompson and 5-time winner Hyo Joo Kim.
Back in my working days, I had a fellow employee who was from Paraguay. She married a USAF officer who was based in the country. He was a widower. She told us that when he brought her to The States to meet his children from his late wife, the kids were expecting to be greeted by an Indigenous person dressed in full regalia.

Hyo Joo! And So Yeon, the old Ryu! Wouldn't it be great for the two sisters to finish 1-2 on Sunday!

Hyo Joo Kim minus one today however, her lead went from two to five. Great to see So Yeon Ryu move up to a tie for fifth place. Hoping that she can have another good round. Other than that, the other Korean golfers didn't have a good day scoring.

Round 3 Hyo Joo was not at her best at the start, fell down into a tie for the lead, but rallied after that. She was helped by a lucky chip-in for birdie on one of the par 5s after not playing that hole all that well. She followed that with a great birdie on the tricky 16th, and now has a five-shot lead. With Jin Young losing in Hong Kong, I'm really hoping Hyo Joo can make up for that with a win tomorrow. Meanwhile, great move by So Yeon! This is practically a home game; I really hope she can keep it up and get a top five (a second place would be even better!). Six was again all over the place. Lots of bogies, a few birdies, and an eagle. Go get them tomorrow, Hyo Joo! Hwaiting!

https://www.instagram.com/p/CyJzrGNuSmL Great win for Hoo Joo Kim makes it one every I believe. A shout out to So Yeon Ryu for a much-needed top five tie Not sure what to make of Jeongeun Lee game right now. She had five birdies on front nine, but four bogeys no birdies on back nine. A Lim Kim had a slight similar score, four birdies front nine, Had bogeys on thirteen, fourteen, fifteen and Eagle on eighteen that helped.

Congrats to Hyo Joo, two sisters in a row! And congrats to So Yeon, the old Ryu, for a top ten finish, actually T7. Maybe another time there will be back-to-back wins for Ryu, Hae Ran one week and So Yeon the next. We can dream! Arkansas and Texas were fun, let's hope for three sisters in a row next weekend in China...

Great victory for Joker. I'm not going to lie, it was painful seeing her break down in the wind at Pebble Beach.
